The first time I saw a commercial for The Club many years ago, I immediately wondered what would stop a thief from just cutting through the steering wheel with a hacksaw or bolt cutter in about 30 seconds and popping it off.This product defeats that approach by bolting through the smaller opening between your steering wheel spokes to provide wide coverage with a solid-steel cover that protects the spokes around the bolt mechanism, and the steering wheel itself in that area, from a thief being able to get anywhere near enough to them with his tools to cut through them or do any substantial prying there.It sounds a little complicated, but it's actually very simple. The product literally goes on and comes off in seconds once you understand how to place it correctly.Like others here have noted, you have to insert the bolt mechanism through the smaller opening between the two closest-together spokes that are located at the bottom of the steering wheel, after first turning the steering wheel a little to position that part of the steering wheel so the product can be attached with room for the extending bar inside your car's cabin. For added security, before attaching the product, turn the wheel not only to bring said opening into a position where the product can be attached, but also so that your car's steering column lock is activated and clicks closed.The product is thick, heavy, and solid, and the extending bar is strong and robust. The glossy yellow finish is attractive, and I think it's a much better warning to potential thieves than black would be.Product is solid steel all the way around, except for the handgrip component fitted over the end of the extending bar, and a few small pieces of cosmetic trim here and there.This is a quality item and I believe it is worth every penny of the price.The product fits my car perfectly. I have a modern SUV with a large steering wheel that additionally has a thick leather wrapped cover on it, and the product fit right over the steering wheel with no issues whatsoever. In fact, there was even a tiny bit too much space in there, so I installed the larger pair of the included spacers, and now the product fits my steering wheel like it was custom made for it.The single thing about the product I would change if I could would be to make the extending bar about two inches longer.I think this is a great product, and it brings me peace of mind. Obviously no anti-theft tactic is absolutely perfect, but in terms of the steering wheel locks available on the market, I believe this is the best one you can get. I'm extremely happy with it, and I recommend it highly.

I added some reflective tape to it to increase visibility to would be thieves after my car's airbag was stolen. But this is a great product as long as it fits your steering wheel. look at the measurements before buying but it is quite large so you are probably ok

I love it. I just slide down over the top of my steering wheel, lock it and that's it. It works so well that when I stuck my key in the ignition; my car, would not crank with the steering wheel lock on. Worth the money honey!

It was a little big on my escape, but it came with some “felt” pieces to resize the inside to the wheel, leaving a secure fit. Recommend!

I've experienced my car being stolen and the feeling of violation and this has re-assured me of the security leaving my car somewhere and knowing that it will be there when I come back. This lock is virtually impossible to remove if put on correctly.
