DZG Xenon Ballasts 55W Quick Start Xenon Headlight Ballast Replacement Slim Ballast Alternate Current AC Universal Fit, 1 Pair

Replaced some ballasts from a well known *retrofit* online company. My old ones worked well, but for the price, not as long as I'd hoped. To replace the ballasts with the same from the *retrofit* company, I'd have to spend 6x as much as these. Not something I want to do knowing what the actual lifespan of the ballasts are.As for these ballasts, they work just fine. Quality control is not great, but their customer service is. One of the ballasts I received was non-functional. I tried a known working ballast I had to make sure it wasn't something else and it was definitely a bad ballast that was delivered to me. I contacted them via Amazon and I was overnighted a new set no questions asked. The new set is a working pair. So now I have a spare ballast should one decide to give up on life. They warm up fast and seem to discharge just as much light as my previous, more expensive ballasts. The color from my bulbs is accurate to my previous ballasts as well. Not sure how people are getting the incorrect color from the bulbs...Anyways, these are a definite buy if you're looking to replace what seems to be a dying lighting option. LEDs are great and all, but beam pattern and throw from HIDs are greatly superior of you have a projector headlight assembly.

These are built like a tank with quality wiring and plugs. Works perfect as stated in headline, not a single issue with the canbus in the truck. Makes the HID bulbs burn super bright! Would buy again in a heartbeat if needed.Definitely a better product than others I have tried for my setup.

3-5 months, no issues or hiccups. Had a pre existing conversion from lamp to HID, these were plug and play.Sturdy construction, good heat dissipation, consistent power/light.

You get what you pay for when it comes to ballasts. These are true 55w error cancelling units. They are heavy, have good heat dissapation, zero flicker output on my 6500k morimoto bulbs. Very satisfied. Warmup time is minimal. Had a Xentec slim ballast system prior to this and went through 4 bulbs in 2 months (faulty ballasts.). After switching to these I haven’t had an issue in almost a year of daily abuse. These act as my DRLs so they see constant power. Very satisfied.

These Didn’t work well at all. They would come on for about 15 seconds then start buzzing flickering and blinking for around 30 seconds then they would shut off and not come back on again until the switch was turned off. And then it would repeat again.

The size of these ballasts allows for placing them in a variety of places, which is usually a difficult task in such cramped spaces. Also, the fact that the bolt holes are symmetrical and that there's only 2 of them gives them an advantage over similar items. Placing them in the coolest site possible within the engine bay is crucial to achieve maximum longevity. Let's hope they live up to the claims of durability.

Absolutely nice ballasts. Though the canbus canceller doesn't really work. My on board computer still tells me that there's a low beam failure (this is on a 97 e36 328i)

If you are looking for a CANBUS ballast for an older European vehicle, this is the one! My 2004 Mercedes E class had stock halogens and I wanted to do an HID conversion. This is an AC ballast, which is much better than the standard DC ballasts. They are slim, feel very sturdy and well built. Couldn't be happier.

I bought these Quick Start Ballast’s to replace my 35 watt Ballast’s on a HID Kit with a H4 Headlight Housing for a 1993 Dodge W250 Club Cab 4x4. These worked great and increased the brightness, so I was am to lower the headlight pattern to give more road illumination. Great upgrade over the 35 watt ballast’s and very good quality.

Había comprado un kit HID para reemplazar mis halógenos en mi Fusion 2013, cuando los instalé no tuve problemas, encendía y apagaban bien, no encandilaba ni nada. El problema vino cuando encendí el auto, las luces parpeadaban o se apagaban directamente después de unos segundos, si cambiaba las luces automáticas a manual volvían a encender pero se volvían apagar solas. Entonces supuse que le faltaba CanBus a las balastras, encontré estas que me llegaron antes de la fecha, las instalé y santo remedio, ya no se apagan cuando enciendo el auto, son un poquito más lentos para encender que el Quick Start que tenía pero eso es lo de menos cuando ya no se me apagan las luces. En fin, muy recomendadas.

Had purchased a set of these ballasts due to the number positive reviews, however one of the ballasts died after just a couple of months.They feel and look good quality, so could have just been unlucky
