This is a great daily devotional. There seems to be just the right amount of material each day to clarify the issue being discussed. The author is quite insightful and the book itself is wonderfully done with thick paper, rounded corners and leather binding with bookmark. You will not be disappointed with this purchase. The content is outstanding and wonderfully done.

Giving for Christmas very nice quality

Alistair Begg has a way of teaching scripture in a way that is thought provoking. His book provides a good guide line for further study in scripture. As a Alcoholic it has been helpful to me daily with maintaining sobriety. For me it has been a daily reminder of the Fathers love. I am thankful God gifted Alistair with his way of teaching. I listen to his Truth for Life podcast on a daily basis. Thank you Jesus for your great and wonderous love!

Allister Begg was our former pastor when we lived in Ohio. You have never met such a godly and humble man whose love for the Lord shines through everything he says and does. He also is passionate to help you follow Jesus with all your heart. This year long devotion is doing just that. With compassion he speaks daily truth to help you to help you in your journey with the Lord. The print is a little small but I'm ok with that. The meat is worth a little squinting. If you like daily devotions and want a year of blessings I highly recommend this.

Alistair Begg is a wonderful teacher and Christian leader. I've listened to his radio broadcast for years and was delighted to find this book. HIGHLY recommend for daily guidance and Bible reading suggestions.

Plenty of advice from a Christian perpective backed up with bible references

This book has been a pleasure to read. So many of the daily devotions have been been immediately helpful and applicable. We have now purchased and started to read the next book which we trust will give us further things to ponder and be encouraged by. We have been greatly blessed by Alistair Begg's ministry and highly recommend this book.

This book has been a blessing to me every morning for the past year. Each day reminds me that not only the world has fallen and it can’t get up…but that I also have fallen and need to continually remind myself of my need for a Saviour. Alistair has a anointed ability in leaving me with a thought to take with me into my day as well as an awareness of the world around me and the mission of making disciples given to us all.I look forward to Volume 2 starting today!
