Magical Beard Wash
Review Preface: I have a full beard that hangs about one inch off of my face. I've been growing it out since early November 2014.As a user of scented beard oil, my main concern purchasing this product was the strength of the scent after reading some of the reviews stating that it leaves your beard smelling like wild berry after you wash up. I wanted the soft beard, but not a scent that would overpower my beard oil. After using the beard wash, I can tell you two things about it:1) The scent smells great, is not overpowering, and does not cover up my beard oil scent at all. If anything, my beard oil easily covers up the scent of the wash, which is what I wanted.2) The wash leaves your beard feeling soft and magical. Yes, magical. That is the only word that comes to mind in order to describe the softness. It was like touching a feathery pillow on my face, and my beard was very happy.Highly recommended.

good? For real
You're washing your beard, and some of this shampoo gets in your mouth. You freak out and go to spit it out, until you realize that it tastes...good?For real; it tastes like slightly sweet berries. It also does a fine job of cleaning and softening your beard, plus leaves behind a nice scent. The best of all the beard shampoos I've tried.

Excellent stuff.
This stuff is fantastic. Great smell and taste. Yes, taste. Getting it into your mouth isn't a problem, as the flavor is sweet and pleasant. I'm not saying you're going to want to eat it, but when it does get into your mouth, you're gonna be fine. I use about a quarter sized amount and it lathers pretty heavily. Leaves my beard fresh and smooth but without much residual scent.

Nice Beard product!
I like this product. Some people aren't fans of the smell from what I see in other comments, but it doesn't last that long and its not super potent. I believe the idea of the product is for when you get the suds in your mouth accidentally, it doesn't have a nasty soap taste and actually tastes a bit sweet. You're beard may smell like a bowl of fruity pebbles (The boy inside the man of me still enjoys a bowl every now and again), but your beard will never be softer. The smell is definitely worth the effects that the shampoo has on your beard. Absolutely worth a buy, and better than most of the other beard shampoos I've used (I've used about 2 or 3 others) in terms of making your beard feel soft.

I bought this item for my boyfriend some time ago. I tend to shop around for good deals and different scents so I thought that I would give this Item a try. I have bought him multiple shampoos from this one to ones from the monthly subscribers like Badassbeardcare.com. This one by far is the best one we have tried so far. Gives a great lather and makes his beard smell so yummy. The smell and softness seem to last him a while because I can't seem to stop touching his beard. The competitors I have noticed do not give as much later and have a more dull scent. I do wish you could get this in bigger bottles that way you wouldn't have to order as often , but it is fairly priced for the size that I purchased... I will be purchasing again soon. Thanks Beardsley.

No Complaints
I've never had good luck growing a beard, but recently in my life I discovered there is an industry dedicated to helping men with issues such as mine: scraggly beards that grow in full some places, grow patchy in others and grow in whatever-direction-it-feels-like in yet other places. Because of this newfound knowledge, I embarked on my manly bearded endeavor.Regarding this product: lathers very, very well, goes on clean and rinses easily. As another reviewer stated, it even tastes good--I wasn't trying to get it in my mouth, but somehow it happened, and I didn't have to make that spitting noise in the shower. I have a keen sense of smell and Beardsley Wild Berry is not at all overpowering; after rinsing it out, I can't detect a smell at all, but that may just be me.It also appears my beard is a bit more manageable afterward, but certainly it feels soft and clean. Based on other feedback here on Amazon, I use this product every-other day in the shower, and try to avoid washing my beard at all in between. I do use a leave-in conditioner and beard oil, also as recommended by some here. So far, so good for this current attempt at beard-growing.

Wish I'd Found You Sooner!
This stuff is great. I love the cantaloupe smell and if some of it gets in my mouth (like it inevitably does) it doesn't make me choke. I started using this product about four months ago, and I wish I'd found it years ago. It lathers very nicely and it leaves my beard very soft. In the past I used other products that appear to be more popular, but this is the best beard shampoo I've found thus far. I've worn a beard on and off for about ten years, so I've got some experience.

MUST BUY FOR ANY BEARD
Absolutely a great product. I had sebhorric dermatitis and I kept trying different lotions and home remedies that worked for everyone but me. Within two times of trying this, My medium length beard was soft and my skim condition cleared up almost completely. I kept debating on shaving my beard because of my skin condition but this shampoo cleared my skin and boosted my confidence. I do not use it everyday so it never completely cleared it up, however, I have a feeling if I did use it everyday it would. I just started talking biotin 5000 mcg a day and working hand in hand with this shampoo, it's completely gone. The scent of the shampoo is great, not too strong but just enough. Thank you so much and I will be ordering again in a couple of months!

Never ending bottle!
Will this bottle ever end?! I use it about 4 times a week and I'm pretty sure I'm still going to be using the same bottle 6 months after buying it! Smells lovely, cleans my beard and leaves it nice and shiny. You only need the tiniest amount, so as far as I'm concerned the value for money couldn't be any higher. When I started growing a beard I scoured the internet and books for advice and found a huge amount of contradictions, so here's the route I took. It's helped some other people out when I've put it in other "beard stuff" reviews, so it might be useful to someone reading this:1) Shave your face and wash REALLY well before and afterwards. This takes off all of the dead skin and allows the beard to start from a fresh.2) Keep shaving your face for a week or two. Wait until your skin is perfect before putting the razor down for the last time.3) Moisturise those cheeks!4) Good hair needs good hair food, so make sure that you're getting all of the vitamins that you need. I started by supplementing my diet with Centrum Men and then later added some special "Beard Growth" ones in.5) Begin growing! Put the razor down and don't cut a single hair on your face for at least 4 weeks. You're going to look scruffy, so it might be an idea to time your growth spurt with a holiday or other time where you don't have to look smart for a couple of weeks. Once these 4 weeks are up and you have a fairly decent growth, you can trim to whichever style you're after.6) Wash regularly, but don't overdo it. I use a beard shampoo about 3 times a week. Beard shampoos are kinder to your face skin, which is very different to your scalp. Washing with soap too much will cause your skin to produce the wrong amount of oil (I can't remember if it's too much or too little). Not good.7) Get yourself a good quality beard oil. This will keep your hair and skin at just the right level of moist. Don't overdo it, use just enough to coat every hair. As your beard grows, you can get yourself a beard balm which will do the same thing as the oil except keep everything looking a bit neater.8) Brush/comb regularly but again, not too much. A couple of times a day is enough - too little and you'll have a tangled mess, too much and you'll damage your hair and remove those all so important face oils. Make sure that you're using a HAND-CUT comb or badger hair brush. Cheap/machine made combs have microscopic imperfections that will tear your hair.9) Bask in the glory of the manliest mane anyone has ever seen.10) Change your name to "The Beard".

Gutes Bartshampoo

Tastes as good as it smells
Loved this shampoo. Smells great, and if you accidentally get some in your mouth its not unpleasant. Problem is, to get in UK the postage is crazy expensive. Sort it out Beardsley!

Great Product!
I love this beard shampoo. It works well and smells lovely. Sadly my beard is long gone but I hang onto all my beard products in the hope that one day I'll grow it back. Definitely worth buying although I must admit it is a bit pricey. Nevertheless you don't need to use a lot of the product so the bottle will last for quite some time.
