Yes the headphones feel really really REALLY cheap. They are like a disposable earphones. The material is like a free hard plastic packaging which will crack within a single drop. You know? All hard plastic even the joints and port for cable. Doesn't like it is gonna last long.However, the sound is where the money at. It is good but durability? The sound stage is amazingly open especially compared to the nowadays prevailing BA driving IEMs. The bass and midrange is detailed and insightful. But the shortcoming is also very typical dynamic - It’s blurry and not as airy as BA drivers. The build is sturdy but it’s made of cheap plastics that doesn’t fit the pricing. Overall it’s an OK product if you can some type of deals but not at its original price.

Unreal clarity, I upgraded from the Shure SE215 and wow, these are the clearest IEMs i've used. Wide soundstage but not as wide as the HD598 I own but that is expected because those are full sized open backs. If you are sensitive to treble you may not like these because everything is very clear on these and these have a sparkle that takes a while to get used to. They are not fatiguing however. The only headphones i've tried that are clearer are the HD800s and maybe HD650.

The red wire broke off on the left iem, made weird metallic tap noises when I tapped on the iem. The left iem's glue failed and everything could be pulled out from the inside and taken apart easily.Got a replacement and received the clear version which is what I wanted in the first place but wasn't on discount back then.

I can not compare with other brand but I must say that they are good quality in-ear. I am a drummer and use it as an in-ear monitor in a band. And the sound is amazing and they’re very confortable.
