If you are searching for a reliable wide angle prime for MFT, this may be it. The distortion is surprisingly minimal for a lens this price range. It really makes landscapes pop out in a pleasing way. I have had mine since 2021 and I still use it regularly!

This 8mm rectilinear (not fish-eye) lens offers an incredibly wide FOV for Micro Four Thirds sensor cameras. This lens is well suited for landscape, architecture and real-estate/interior design shoots. The difference between this lens and the already wide 12mm is quite striking.Barrel distortion is well controlled for such a wide lens, and easily corrected in software. Contrast and color pairs well with the other Meike cine lenses. It also features the same great build-quality as the rest of the line. (Do note that the wider FOV necessitates a larger 86mm filter size than its siblings.) Geared focus and declicked aperture rings both have good throw and nice dampening.Only you know if you need a lens this wide, but if you do, the price to quality ratio of this lens is impossible to beat.

Wow me enamoré de la línea de cine Meike, son objetivos bastante accesibles para ser objetivos de cine… la calidad de los materiales, y de los cristales, dan una imagen muy muy buena, bastante definida, sin llegar a ser algo crispy molesto, así que totalmente recomendados !!
