Sturdy Bag
I was surprised by the construction and sturdiness of these bags and the clamps that came with it. I will leave the carabiners out of this review, as I consider them an extra. I would not rely on them to hang 12 lb bags from. The bags have a very solid Velcro closing, but I still feel safer putting the play sand I got at the home improvement store for less than $ 5 (50 lbs) into 1 Gallon Zip Lock bags. An added bonus is that if you're on an outdoor shoot and it starts raining, your sand bags won't be soaked and twice as heavy. The bag construction features a very sturdy metal center ridge to prevent the bags to get too floppy. The quality of the handles seems to be strong enough to handle the 6 lbs I put in each compartment ( 12 lbs total).Overall, I would recommend these bags to everyone.

Good quality for the price
We used the weights and sand bag (holders you need to remember to buy your own sand we were running around day of because I forgot) supplementary to our photo backdrop stand and lighting equipment. Good quality for an affordable price, and we really appreciated that the orange clips were easily detachable from the clamps so they were less noticeable in our pictures

Excellent quality and value
I've previously purchased orange refillable sandbags from B&H. Those bags have a zippered enclosure, so when I received these bags with a velcro enclosure, I was hesitant. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they hold in the sand just great, and the bags are just as durable. I filled the bags with a $4 (50lb) bag of washed sand from Home Depot. The carabiners and clamps are an added bonus, as we can always find a use for those!

Great choice.
They're super simple, basic, and work perfectly. Well worth the money. They do not come with any sand so you'll need to find sand to fill them with. But I found a 40 lb bag of sand for I think $5 at my local bark dust place so it's cheap.

Sandbags are very sturdy, but clips are super cheap
The sandbags are of good quality and hold the weight just fine for sandbags. However the clips are so cheaply made. The orange clip part keeps popping off almost every time I clip it to my backdrop roll. They do clip back on, but it was super annoying to happen in front of my client. 3* rating is all for the clips, the bags are just what you'd expect, and I don't anticipate any issues.

Lower-cost value bags don't bet any better
These are sturdy sand/saddlebags with a beefy internal support stiffener across the top, under the handle. I've had other brands where the stiffener is thinner and ended up poking through the material after being loaded up with 25 lb of weight. These don't mind the weight at all. Just as important, they are "short", so I can use them when the tripod supports are close to the ground. The only way they could get better is with a two-velcro system (other brands often have two zippers or two different velcro fasteners). The clamps are also a nice addition.

Good quality!
We ordered these sand bags to use for our photo booth backdrop and flash stand and, while we haven't used them at an event yet, I can say that these are really great quality for the price!I took the advice of other reviews and filled a gallon size Ziploc bag with sand inside of these bags so sand wouldn't leak out through the seams. I was able to get about 15lbs in each set for a total of 60lbs of weight. I believe one review said they managed 25lbs, but I'm not sure how that possible.A seam on one of the bags was starting to unravel near the Velcro when I opened the package, but I don't see that being an issue or affecting the integrity of the bag.Overall, I'd definitely buy again!
