So I dont garden I can't keep grass alive. However I do have a lot of ball pythons and some are derps when it comes to feeding time. I've been bitten 3 times and got tired of the few idiots that keep missing the feeder so I got these and I really like them. I can move my hands/fingers normally to hold the tongs and if they were to miss the feeder and get my hand their teeth wouldn't puncture. They go up to my elbow but not past it (elbow exposed) so in conclusion good buy for me.

Just received these and used for the first time today...Bull thistle invaded my garden area...these are the 1st pair of gloves that protected my hands and lower arms from the toxic thistles...I am so thankful for them..The gloves are designed simple with out pulls, ties, or frills...nothing to catch onto the bull thistle...the tags say 100% pig skin...They are very comfortable to wear, easy to move my fingers to pull the thistle...Hopefully the mfg will not cheapen the quality of these gloves....

Having a yard in the desert means I spend a lot of time around palms, cacti, and even (dun dun duuun) the dreaded teddy bear cholla! MIND THE CHOLLA! These gloves are great! Nothing gets through them and I can clip palms at the trunk without scratches up my arms and weed around my cacti and agave without destroying my hands. 10/10 would recommend for desert dwellers.

I use these gloves for yard work, trimming and pruning rose bushes and other bushes and plants in the yard. I like how long the gloves are, protecting my arms and hands when working inside the bushes. They feel comfortable on my hands, protect them, yet allow me to grab and manipulate the branches.

My husband laughed when I put them on, but for the first time in the six years we have owned our home, I felt safe picking up the monstrosities that are the thorny weeds edging our yard. I was nervous at first because I've purchased "durable" pigskin gloves that did not protect at all, but I felt nothing poke through! AND my arms were safe up to my elbows. I don't know how long they will last, but they were worth the Prime Day deal for sure.

This were purchased to replace another pairs of silicon based mitten. My wife bakes a lots and appreciates a nice pairs of oven mitten. This is also longer and prevent any arm burns. However, within few months of using them daily, the evidence of wear and tears began to show. They are small and does not interfere with the functions. They mostly likely will need to be replaced later.

These gloves are fantastic. I live in a tropical climate with lot of plants with thorns and spikes. I am a regular gardener and although I have always worn good quality gloves, my forearms always look like I have been loading a wood chipper. These keep my skin free of scratches, cuts or sap. It also keeps yard crud out of my stainless steel watch band. Excellent investment.

I buy stuff on Amazon all the time..this is one of my best purchases ever..these are the absolute best..I have a ton of black raspberry bushes..they are brutal to trim back because of all the thorns..changed my life..highly recommend

These gloves are great for cutting down and removing thorny bushes. They protect your hands and arm from scratches an pricks from thorns. Really doing the job should have had them years ago.

Ordered a size Medium and received a size small. I thought maybe they just fit small at first but the packaging confirms that they are a size small and not medium. Pretty disappointed because they do feel like good quality and I really wanted to try them out!
