I ordered the one with 5 levels, and for my double glass windows gradually increasing to level 5, it worked perfectly.Tip is to dip the sponges in window cleaner+soap solution and worked very well.For those who dont know the thickness of glass order this one. Happy with the first use

I have read multiple reviews, and after using this product on the 57th floor of my apartment highrise I have this advice to offer those who say it doesnt work.1. soak both inside and outside attachments in a separate pan of window cleaning solution, (I made the mistake of doing this in the same pan and the magnets are very very strong and flipped both sides together, and was difficult to separate, this was my mistake as it was the first time I used the product).2. do not just spray the pads or outside of window, pads need to be very wet in order to work correctly.3. clean windows very early in the morning as they will be more cool and solution will not evaprate causing outside unite to stick and separate (I live in Dubai, so windows get very hot during the day)4. I found starting from either bottom right or left then going up and doing perimeter, then going to top and doing an "S" pattern all the way down to the bottom from either top left or right, done slowly paying attention to the outside unite ensuring it is not sticking or stuttering on the surface of the window.5. ensure safety cord is secured around your wrist securely before attempting to clean windows.6. I did a total of 6 outside windows measuring (152cm's xx112cm's) and the outside unit only fell off once, and this was my fault for going too fast.My building only cleans the windows in our high rise twice a year so this product is an absolute must have.Update to my initial review 2023.05.01, The internals of this product have corroded, only after 5 months of use, this is absolutely not acceptable for a product to only have less than 6 months life span, shows the poor quality "MADE IN CHINA". If used correctly, you’ll have sparkling windows.My balcony was left neglected for 6 months, with desert grease and dust built up, I considered many options, fortunately this one paid off!!I just cleaned 28 metres square of balcony windows in less than 30 minutes, and they are seriously clean!!Use a bucket with a little dish soap. The idea is to use the water and soap as lubricant for the device to slide and clean at the same time.Just brilliant. Thank you!!

Great great great, this is my third double glass item i try. The first 2 items did not work. This one is great i'm so happy i took a chance and tried it.1- Put the device on the glass and then choose the number, for me # 3 was enough and the device moves easily and not fell down not even one time.2- Once you finish move the device in round circle to take it off the glass.I'm so happy and enjoying cleaning my windows now.

I live in a tower and to do a normal cleaning for my windows the quality of the cleaners is poor and the holding clips are bad (doesn't hold the cleaners very well). It does something rather than nothing, but not to an extend of satisfaction.

Amazing, saved me from the trouble I had for years of not being able to clean that one thick stripe of the sliding window which goes underneath the other one when you clean it with your hand out taking that space. Very easy and the magnets performed as promised. The code does a good job catching it in case it looses the force. In fact the magnet is so powerful that you have to be extremely careful when you handle them. It claps back quick and hard that once I got a cut on my finger tip. As long as you are careful and keep it completely away from children, this is an extremely helpful product.

We had some dirty upper-storey windows, and getting someone in with a cherry-picker to clean them was really expensive. Enter this magnetic window cleaner! It's working really well for us. The squeegee on the trailing side of the triangle leaves the glass very clean. The sponges really are quite small, but big enough to get the glass clean. The instructions are important - read them carefully, and practice on something easy like a sliding glass door to get the hang of using it.One important thing - they suggest you dip the unit in soapy water or cleaner, to get it ready to use. This works OK, but the sponges dry out very quickly on the window and need re-wetting (ie, unstick it from the inside & outside of the window, re-wet it in the bucket, and then put it back on the window.) It seems to work much better if you have a way to spray cleaning solution on the window first - get it 'soaped up', and then clean it with the unit (rather than relying on the small amount of cleaner that the sponges can hold.)What works SPECTACULARLY well for me is a repurposed Ortho insecticide jug + battery-powered sprayer wand. Amazon also sells similar sprayer wands that can be attached to whatever jug of window cleaner you like.In our case, the inside of the windows are mostly clean, so I just spray a bit of vinegar & water (rather than the full-on soapy solution, which can create a bit of a mess) to make the inside half of the unit glide around nicely.

So, you do have to handle this with care. The magnets are intense, and it is difficult to pull the pieces apart. And like many have reviewed, your hand can get caught in there, and it is painful. But, once you get the hang of how this works, it is really great. I’m so glad I bought it. I just have to practice getting a rhythm down and going in the S formation when cleaning the windows. And making sure both sides of the windows, have plenty of cleaning solution so that it slides easier.

It took a minute to get used to the movement with the magnets but didn't take long. It works much like cleaning your car windshield. Once you get used to it, it was relatively easy. It will take some strength because of the magnets, so may be harder for some. Some streaking left behind on the first window I did, but as I got the hang of it, the other windows turned out great. Not the cheapest when you come to thinking about cleaning windows, but its also not something I'm going to do every week.For what it costs and cleaning the outside window every month or two, I think the cost is okay. However, you're really buying the device and magnet. If you really wanted to, I'm sure you could figure out how to get a reasonable cloth between them in place of the pads and still clean the window without replacement pads.Tip: Once you've cleaned a window, don't throw away the first pads. Just turn them over. They likely aren't so dirty on the backside that they're unusable. 1 pad (in each place) worked for two windows when flipping them over after cleaning the first window.
