So delighted to have found an author that will now be one of my go to's 📚 Absolutely loved this book and when I wasn't reading it I was thinking about it. Beautifully written with fabulous characters and a bucket load of emotions thrown in. Sad, happy, realistic, heartbreaking and empathetic. It made me stop and think about what joy I have around me and to be grateful for what you have. I shall miss this book but look forward to reading many more of Sineads books 📚

Sensitively written story
I didn't find this book an easy read, it deals with a very difficult (some might say, controversial) subject. It was dealt with sensitively and delicately and thereby woven into a very emotional story, where one could identify with the various opinions given by the different characters.

One of the best books I’ve read in ages
I absolutely loved this book from start to finish, I couldn’t put it down. It’s been one of the most thought provoking and emotional books I’ve read in a long time. You become entranced with the story from page one and Sinéads writing leaves you captivated and often tearful at many times. I found myself on both sides of a truly heartbreaking story and found myself to be able to sympathise and really understand the pain in the characters lives. The characters are well written and you get a great insight into everyone’s lives and how this tragedy effects them all. I would highly recommend this book.

Cried & cried…beautiful book
I haven’t cried reading a book since Beth died in Little Women. Until I read this. Couldn’t put it down, I was engrossed from the beginning. Such a hard story but beautifully written.

Good but not great
I enjoyed reading this book at the beginning but it is very long drawn out. Good holiday read by the pool.

Thought provoking .
Well written characters believable plot but hard to cope with the sadness. The grief of the characters was portrayed well which added to the misery.

Impossible Situation
This book is heartbreaking. The family is put into an impossible position and they must come to terms with the crushing blows dealt to them.

Sad, it makes you cry
This book was an experience. I wouldn't have thought anyone could really do justice to a story Like this without sounding either overly dramatic or just making it a sob story. But it balances the good with the sorrow and leaves a very powerful message. I loved it

An ok read
I quite enjoyed this, it was a bit repetitive. I felt like I’d read some of the pages in the book before as the description of the emotions of the characters and their thought processes were repeated.
