Amazon only lets me upload 1 video per review, but I wanted to tell you that if you buy more than 1 shade you have to sync the remote to the shades BEFORE you install them. You can take them down and sync them later but it is much easier to do it before installation. Shades that are the exact same size can all be on 1 channel on the remote. If you have windows of different sizes like I do, then you need to have different channels for the different size shades. Otherwise when you adjust the opening and closing height of the one shorter shade it will adjust the heights of all of the shades on that channel together. I did not get the solar cell and I wish I had. I purchased the Broadlink Universal Remote RM4 pro so that I could use Alexa to control the shades. I also had to buy a CR2450 button battery for the remote control. In my video, the window on the far left has handles that roll the window open. The roller shade would come down, hit the window handles and automatically go back up. There is a video on the seller's page that explains how to adjust the height. The videos are very helpful, and I had no problems adjusting the height so that the shade comes down and stops just short of the handles. There are no written instructions in the box. I didn't miss the written instructions because the videos explain how to do everything. My one pet peeve is with the broadlink system. In order to get it to control things, every command has to start with, "Alexa turn on.....". This is a function of the broadlink app itself and it can't be changed. (If it can be changed please message me b/c I hate it). I want to say, "Alexa, shades down". I don't want to say, "Alexa, turn on shades down" because it sounds awkward. Instead, I call it "movie mode", and I say "Alexa turn on movie mode". To get the shades back up I say, "Alexa turn on open mode". Its a small grievance, I absolutely love these shades otherwise. If they weren't so expensive I'd put them in every room in my house.

Good product. But poor quality control
All in all I'm happy with the Yoolmax blinds. It is obvious they are not ready for distribution in the USA. They came with 2 sheets of, (I guess instructions)... In Chinese.! Who ever packed my blind cut their finger because there was evidence of dried BLOOD on 1 of the blinds. I contacted the Amazons' "contact the seller". I must say once I got to the support group for Yoolax, they were very communicative, helpful and prompt. However, they were limited in their technical expertise. The only reason that I didn't push to return them was due to Michael from tech support stating he would assure we would get them running together. And he fulfilled his commitment. Finally, I might purchase more for my bedrooms, because I really like these blinds. They are fairly good quality. But most of all, I like them going up and down on my set schedule. BUT, I would not recommend them to anyone who is not technically savvy, or willing to spend the time "deciphering" the instructions.Ordered: Dec 13, 2020Received: Jan 4, 2021Jan 6 2021 Messaged "contact the seller" about dried BLOOD on battery AND No directions. The response was to credit $30 to Amazon account.Jan 10 2021 Message about bad remote. The response was another copy of the .pdfJan 14 2021 The shades are not working. I have 2 remotes with 2 blinds. One of the remotes has the mode & time set buttons inoperative, No click when depressed. (See previous complaint). I deleted a channel in an attempt to sync the "BAD REMOTE". Now NEITHER blind works. Please do not send me ANOTHER instruction manual. Either PLEASE contact me directly, send me a replacement remote, or refund me the $686.88, that I paid for the blindsJan 15 2021 Thank you for the YouTube videos. Unfortunately I've already utilized videos along with the directions you sent.I spent most of day of troubleshooting. Here are some details I discovered.1 There has NEVER been any beeps, (sound) when programming.2.One of the remotes has NO DISPLAY.(This remote has the "M" and "P" buttons nonresponsive). It does display the channel when toggling <>.3.I deleted a channel. Thats when I lost ALL control of the shades4. I performed the reset procedure. The motor cycles 3x. But no reaction when pressing P2 on either remote. I would like to get these blinds working ASAP. Is it possible to get the remotes expedited?Jan 20 2021. I received 2 new remotes. After re-reviewing the you tube videos, while referring with the instructions. I had the blinds working in 2 hrs.In conclusion, if you shop around for battery operating blinds, you should discover these are a good value... but ..

Installation had hiccups, but working very well once installed`
Let's get the bad part out of the way:It's hard to see on the picture, but imagine trying to screw the left plastic bracket that is holding the battery into it's pre-drilled hole: The hole was where the motor was! So, fortunately I have a drill, small drill bits and not really afraid to get hands dirty. Drilling two new holes for the two plastic brackets (you see the new location) and it's done.HOWEVER, if you do not enjoy drilling holes into your ~two-hundred dollar brand new product, you will end up using superglue, duct tape or return it. Not good! I reported it to Yoolax but got no response. Not so great:The added battery pack adds a hefty depth to the unit, if your window encasing is 4" (5cm) deep, no problem! But if you running on thin space, this might be a problem.Minor quabble:You can not recharge them without taking the unit down. The charge port is on the battery which is behind the installed unit. The good:You can quite easily/fast take them down (the quick connect is working well), so that's not an issue IMHO.Lastly:They DO work very well. They are not too noisy (three window shades running up or down sound a bit like having 3 angry bees in your house but it's quite tolerable)They integrate well into the app and it is quite straightforward to adjust the top- and bottom-stop with provided instructions [Unlike the Yoolax ShangriLah blinds, we have 2 of those, and NEVER EVER got them to program correctly, I would not buy those again]So, all said: I personally would buy the honeycomb shades again - and likely will - now that I know how to drill mounting holes, no problem.Overall, good value for the money. If you're not a handy-man/woman, proceed with caution.
