Wolky Nimes Sandal

I had a very old pair of Wolky sandals. They were my most comfortable go to summer shoe despite the fact they were dirty and well worn. Metal buckle finally broke. Was thrilled to find they still made something similar. Am loving this new pair. And since they are clean, I wear them everywhere. I don't mind that they aren't the most fashionable. I have hard to fit feet. I love the ability to adjust in so many ways. My feet are never sore no matter how long I wear these.

"If the shoe fits wear it..." as they say, and these shoes fit perfectly. Since MBT went out of business I have been looking for a replacement. The MBT's had great support and the rocker bottoms made me feel as if they were flying. The Nimes style is full of support and looks great; it can be worn as a quasi-dress shoe or as a casual shoe. The leather closures are flexible but not tacky. This is a great shoe for boomers who can even wear them with socks (a fashion no no that needs to be broken).

I've owned at least six pairs of this sandal and have been almost uniformly pleased with them. They still have outstanding support (two arches and a toe bar) which is increasingly rare, even for Wolky. I gave a "fit as expected" rating because I know that they run large (I wear a 9 1/2, yet buy this in a 40.) The problem (which Wolky and many other brands experienced a few years ago) whereby the soles cracked and disintegrated seems to have been remedied. I have two pairs which I've worn for 2 to 3 years and have had no problems with the soles.

Have problems with my feet. 2005 a had a nice pair just like the one I purchase. The I got them from went out of business. A few week ago I found the same one on amazon. Thank you, Thank you, I love them.

I gave this 5 stars although it was too small on my large foot. I ordered 2 pairs and am keeping the larger pair. I have another pair I've had for over 20 years. These are totally adjustable with 3 points to adjust to, and quite comfortable. I recommend them to anyone with foot problems or in need of comfort.

Have loved this brand for decades. These sandals did not disappoint. Only wish there had been a larger selection in my size.

My first two pairs of Wolky sandals were purchased here in AZ. This pair from Amazon (or your vendor) is not as comfortable nor is the leather as high quality. This is a hot climate and sandals are preferred footwear; Since this new pair does not meet my expectation, I will return them.

I have a pair of Wolky sandals that I have been wearing for 4 years. Inside and outside. They are getting shabby for dress wear but otherwise in good shape. I wanted to get another pair for dress wear and no stores in out area carry them anymore. The only pair of sandals that I could put on and wear all day without "breaking them in".The last pair I had . were bought in a mall. I just bought them and put them directly on my feet. I have to add that I have arthritic toes and these shoes with the extra support and a thicker sole worked great for me. I would highly recommend them for anyone with foot problems. The velcro straps make them easy to put on and adjust to your feet.
