Best replacement for cigarette lighter in truck; fast charges anything you need charged. 100/100 recommend. Only flaw is led for battery voltage is bright at night so I put electrical tape over, super clear during day.

I installed this on my bass boat. I wanted a USB outlet that I could turn off so I didn't run the risk of running the battery dead. Installation was straight forward and it works like a charm. It comes with a nice cover that flips over the outlet and has a small window that you can see the voltage display

I replaced a two-port USB-A charger socket with this USB-C & USB-A socket. I wanted the USB-c for a MagSafe charger for my iPhone 12-max and the USB-A for my dashcam. The wife's 12-max iPhone was charging off another USB charger. All worked grand for our 2400 mile trip. Last weekend I had my 12-max on the MagSafe and because we cleaned up the car and removed the 2ns charger, she plugged her phone into the USB-A on this socket. Later in the day, we noticed our phones were not charging. I then noticed our phones were charging then not. When I realized the charging configuration I felt the socket and it was really hot. We unplugged my wife's phone all was well. So I agree with others, this is not a 48-watt charger, but it does work!

Mi purchased this to install in my 14 Tacoma since I’ve purchased it a couple years back for my 4Runner and really liked it. Works great, no complains.

USB-C PD and QC3.0 both work as advertised and seems to put out sufficient power with no issue. One annoyance with this module is that it always defaults to off when the power is switched on. You have to push the power button each time the vehicle is turned on to switch on the USB ports and display. The silicone cover seems to do the job in keeping the outlets weather and water resistant. You are able to read the voltage through the cover as the cover has a clear window. Body of the outlet seems to be the same size as standard cigarette jack hole but it is a snug fit.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Easy to install works great

It was super easy to install since it’s the same size hole as the factory outlet. I used the factory wires to install instead of the supplied wires since there’s already a fuse in the car’s fuse box. It’s a clean install and chargers my iPhone quickly. My only minor complaint is the charging ports only work when the voltage display is “on”. It would be nice if the USB ports always had power and voltage readout was able to be toggled on/off.
