Excellent
Arrived today, took 8 days, which isn't bad at all. I am a bit annoyed that the price has gone down by a tenner but can't help that. It was very easy to adjust the height. The cane feels sturdy and really love the way it supports your arm. I had a stroke which left me with dizziness and balance issues as well as leg weakness and this cane gives me confidence already as it feels sturdy and supportive, the arm support is giving you the feeling of extra balance control. I like the big base as it adds to me trusting the cane not to slip from under me. It was expensive, but would buy again and would definitely recommend it.

A great walking aid.
This walking aid is superb. It ticks all the boxes. I am 6ft 4ins and adjusts to my height and 18 stone so takes my weight. A great purchase. I only wish it had come out years ago.

This cane is awesome! I recently tore my ACL and meniscus, and have graduated from crutches to a cane. Regular stick canes were providing very little support. I found this, and it's great! First, it's very comfortable to use. The handles are well padded, easy to grip and hold onto (and I have minor arthritis in my hands); and it doesn't slip out of your hands. The curved design is genius! The wrap-around curve provides a ton of extra support around your lower arm, making this more like a crutch than a cane. That extra support really works well and provides more stability than your standard cane because it allows you to lean into the curved arm support, making the cane and walking more secure and stable. It's very lightweight and the design allows it to lean or hang off the edge of a table or door or wall. I can easily lift this over my front car seat when I get in, no problem. The bottom is non slip and a perfect size -- unlike those wide-based canes that just get in the way of your steps. What I really like is the design which allows you to lean on it with two hands in order to easily push up from a chair or seated position. The cane's design provides a great deal of support, and with injured knees, getting up and down has been my biggest challenge. This cane is very supportive for that! With my ACL and knee pain, this actually alleviates pain throughout the day as I can lean more heavily onto it, unlike stick canes. The back arm curve fits well on both arms .. the design feels equally comfortable. My physical therapist really liked this, too. Very, very pleased, as this has made a HUGE difference in my road to recovery. Thank you, Strong Arm design team! You are awesome!!

I’ve been using canes for over 10 years. I recall injected my self badly that required wheelchair and walker assistance. This thing can take weight well! I’m 29 yr old, 5.8 165lbs my husband 5’11 27(lbs and it can handle both of us leaving, I love that it stands on its own! It gives do much freedom rather than other canes that fall over or having to lean your cane on something or having to teach for it. It stands up right next to ya! Great quality. I’ve dropped it /knocked it over accidentally a few times in cement, and it still handles like a champ. The cushion is so great on my hands and wrist- others are soo painful when you lean. And the second hook really helps you with more control of balance- you can lean into your cane with your forearm. Anyway, I recommend this immensely. It’s pricier but.. I have many many cheap canes, and for 7 months, I’ve only used this one. Favorite. You can see it stands on its i out own in the photo .. sorry I don’t have a better photo

I have several autoimmune disorders which create pain all over my body. I don't always need a cane, but when I do it is because the pain is severe and causes me to feel unbalanced. I have tried many types: The hurricane, the traveling fold up canes, various walking sticks, etc. I was also on crutches due to the neuropathy in my feet. That was a total failure as the pain in my shoulders, wrists, and other joints made the whole "staying off your foot/feet almost comical and certainly pathetic. I tried this cane as a last resort really. I cannot believe how great it is. I really feel stable as I walk, and the shape makes it a cross between the crutches and a cane. I also find it incredibly comfortable for my arthritic wrists as I maneuver. Another issue I always found with traditional canes is that they are always falling over and you can't carry things without them getting in the way of the cane or they throw you further off balance. I find that because of the upper arm/elbow support I am much steadier and can actually carry other objects. When I am sitting or need to rest the cane against a wall or other surface, the foam grips keep it from falling to the floor. I also find that I prefer the hexagonal wedge at the base (at least on this model) rather than the prongs on my hurricane. The little pieces at the bottom fall off and I seem to trip over that cane often when going through doors or getting around furniture. With the Strong Arm, I really feel supported and steady. As other reviewers noted, being able to stand straight is a huge bonus. My sciatica and other back/neck issues are not aggravated by the poor posture created by other canes. This promotes better alignment all over. Finally, this cane really helps me when I need to stand after sitting. I no longer feel really awkward as I roll around, willing my body to stand on arthritic knees and dodgy hips. I may not be entirely graceful with the Strong Arm cane (it is not a miracle worker) but it definitely provides the support to reduce the pain and provide support where/when needed. It may be pricey, but oh my is it worth it for this "yankee" girl to purchase!

I have been using different types of support canes for over 10 years, and I now need a cane that provides greater stability. This cane meets that need very well. It offers better support and significantly reduces stress and pain in my wrist and elbow while walking. I also appreciate that the cane can stand on its own due to its large, stable base.
