This was a big disappointment. The magnifying side is so blurry even when you are looking up close. I can't look at myself because I get nauseous.

I wanted something to magnify that didn't need batteries or to be plugged in. I can move it to natural light in my window sill or simply on the counter. This does a great job. I now see what I have been blind to. Wish I had seen those nose hairs sooner. No one stares at my nose anymore and somehow life is just better. :-)

I replaced a 10x magnification vanity mirror I’ve had for almost 8 years with this worthless mirror!It is NOT 10x magnification, not even close. More like 3x, maybe 5x, definitely NOT 10x!I can’t even see my eyebrows to pluck them.Very disappointing! I do not recommend!

I ordered this to replace the glass in an antique vanity magnifying mirror whose glass is exactly 8 inches in diameter. Very frustrating to find out that this is significantly smaller than 8 inches and did not fit for my exact measurement. I believe it was closer to a 7 inch mirror but I can’t remember the exact measurement. If you’re going to use it as is is just fine, bur you wont be able to repurpose the glass

I previously had another magnifying mirror on a stand, but the stand broke. In the meantime however I kept the mirror itself, propping it up onto something in order to use it.Today I received the new mirror I'd ordered from Alhakin. Not only was it missing one of the screws to assemble it but.... when I decided to test out this new 10X mirror, and then compare it to my old mirror (which was either 5x or 10x....I can't recall).... either way the quality of the image in the Alhakin mirror is very poor. I can see my pores, etc. much more clearly in my old mirror.So I'm going to return this one....
