Super stylish at an affordable price. To be honest, I've never used the shoulder strap, so I can't speak to the annoying sound that people complain about, but without the strap this is a very handsome overnight bag, gym bag, beach bag, etc. I use it for all of the above and get compliments all the time. My cat likes it too. :)

Bought this bag for my boyfriends birthday as he didn’t have a carryon bag size for a weekend trip. This bag really only fits about 2.5 days worth of clothes and bathroom stuff in it. It looks very nice and is holding up very well as we have used it a few dozen times now. The sizing is about half the size of a normal roller bag. It will fit in the overhead of (delta/American Airlines/United), and if it’s not super full you might be able to get it under the seat.

First of all I have a Herschel backpack that I love. The duffle however was a disaster.I bought this duffle because it has a cross body strap, I live in NYC and use this as a gym bag and find it easier to walk/commute with cross body strap. The first problem was that the strap squeaked to the point that my office mates could hear me coming as soon as I hit our elevator bay, not a deal breaker but really annoying to walk a mile and hear squeaking the entire way. The deal breaker is that less than two months after buying the bag the fabric piece that anchors the cross body strap broke completely, unfortunately I am beyond the return window so this $60 bag is pretty much unusable for my purposes. I spend the money on Herschel products because they are supposed to be a higher quality but my $20 duffle from Kmart, while now really dirty, has lasted for over 10 years.

The bag looks great and is the right size for taking to the gym each day but there are also some major reliability flaws. Where the shoulder strap connects to the bag there are two clips (one per side). These clips will squeak when you walk as the plastic rubs against itself. Also, after only three months the shoulder strap detached entirely (see photo a few days prior to final detach) leaving the bag significantly more useless as now I can only use the handles instead of conveniently throwing it on my shoulders. Overall I'm usually very happy with my Herschel products but for some reason this one does not live up to their expected level of quality.
