can this chair fit on a folding chair to support back where folding chair doesn't on mid back

Hello, I tried putting the Crazy Creek Chair on a folding chair just now to find out. The answer is that while it can be done, the angle of the folding chair doesn't allow the Crazy Creek Chair to slide all the way back. As a result, the seat portion of the Crazy Creek Chair sticks out about 4 inches beyond the seat of the folding chair, if that makes sense. It is still doable, because when you're sitting, your weight will hold the Crazy Creek Chair in place, and it does provide the back support that you mentioned. But I would have to say it is not a perfect solution. Let me know if you have any other questions.

The chair can be unbuckled, then it can be flat.

You would have to rig your umbrella to attach to the chair. A large umbrella would be difficult. The chair is flexible and lightweight when empty.
