UPDATE: vendor send me a replacement and the clippers worked very well. The motor did not stick. These are really good clippers.My set may just have been a dud. the clippers worked very well on my very matted Cockapoo and cut as well or even better than a higher priced Wahl brand (extremely good clippers). But right out of the box when I tested they would not turn on immediately - pausing up to several seconds as they hum, like a burnt motor might do. After one cut of my very matted dog (about 30 minutes of clipping on and off), the clippers would either start or not start, repeated turning off or on would finally get them to start up.I wrote to the manufacturer but no reply, so I got a refund instead. I won't try another set.Comes with a lot of accessories but the scissors are useless. Not a factor since the cutters work really well except for my motor and starting issue.

Worked like a dream !! So happy I found a clipper that works on very curly Golden doodle hair !! So many sizes even comes with come and cheaper style scissors !! For $32 can’t beat it ! Just try it.

We opened the box and noticed that the blade was crooked. A little frustrating adjustment we got the blade back on. If it’s not put on precise then it’s very loud. We tried to cut our doodle with these clippers. It does not cut well at all we had to go over and over the same area more then three times. Returned it and got are money back going back to wahl more expensive but more reliable

I was happily surprised at the low noise of this trimmer. I have a regular Wahl for human hair, and it is a noisy thing. Also, kudos to customer service. Quick response and total resolution of a problem that developed. No nips to the delicate skin of a kitty cat. I wish they would include tips on how to trim kitties, but it seems no brand does this.

Feels cheap in the hand. Plasticky.Died within two minutes on my longhair.Junk and returned.

So this particular product is recommended for animals with thick fur. Yet the box shows a Beagle, and that is about what the clippers might have been able to handle. 10 minutes, the thing was so hot I had to stop because the head was causing my dog discomfort. By the second round, after only 30 minutes of intermittent use, the blades just wouldn't vibrate and started to pull my dog's fur. My dog is a black lab hybrid. Moderately thick fur.

I turned this on ready to trim my dog. I got through one paw and the trimmers started making a high pitched noise and stopped working.

I could of bought people clippers and would of worked cause these were no different they were as loud as my husband clippers and the vibrations was the same as my husband so I do not see a difference like they said I would
