Q: Why do some of my humphrey gas lights burn very bright white and others are a low light orange ?

That probably could be due to soot on the jet. Are you using the same mantles on all the lamps. Our American Mantle Preformed Mantles SKU 7998748 give out a brighter light than the other mantles.

Q: Will these fit the Humphrey 9PG lamps?

Yes this burner nose will fit the Humphrey 9PG lamp. However, please note that this burner nose is good if you are using preformed mantles. If you are using the tie on style mantles then you need a different burner nose. Please do change your gaskets when changing a burner nose to ensure proper functioning of the lamp.
