Ideal Pet Products Aluminum Sash Window Pet Door, Adjustable

The cats were constantly crying at the door to the screened in porch to go in and out. This part is very well designed and manufactured. In our case, the window had a tab that prevents a tight seal. With about 20 minutes with a dremel I made Cuts in the product so the window would make tight contact. Our cats love it. Now to get the kids to stop playing with it.

Product matches the description and works as designed. The installation is easy, just slide out the ends to fit your window and seal it. With a heavy direct wind, you can feel a little draft, but not bad overall. The flap on the door sometimes doesn't meet with the magnet and it kinda stays open, but I can live with that.My biggest problem is getting all my cats to use it. They seem scared of it, but I think with time and seeing others use it, they will too. So that's a different problem.

Nice addition… let’s my cats go in and out without letting all the heat/ air conditioning out with them. Makes my life easier. We’ve had some significant rain… I haven’t seen any water on the inside. It did take them a while to learn to push thru the door .. the magnet is strong but they are able to ( I left the flap up for a period of time so they knew to go thru.)

This is well made, easy to install and has made my life so much easier. The door is heavy and my cats are reluctant to push through. I took the door off and replaced it with heavy clear vinyl. Easy job. I will have to get them adjusted to the door because of heat and AC. Small problem but, they will get it. I was hesitant to buy at first because of the cost. It is worth the price.

I used this on my window so that my cats can go outside into their catio. It’s very durable and sturdy, it holds the window open perfectly, I haven’t had any issues with the product thus far.

this pet door installed perfectly then we found it completely unusable! The pet door comes with a cover to be used to lock the pet either in or out. The cover slides up and down to open or close, with a sash window, there is a ledge built into the window to use to open or close the window this ledge blocks the pet door cover from sliding to open resulting in a pet door that you have to open the window to be able to use!

Fits perfect! It did take me a couple tries to get it fitted properly. Maybe if my husband was home to help, it would have been easier. We live in an apartment and this is a perfect solution for our kitties to be able to enjoy the porch! Love it!
