Some times you win some times you don't, in this case ... I bought cheap and got cheap,

Making drapes. Got through about 50 grommets then it would press them together. Then I noticed that the base was cracked 3/4 of the way around. Returning immediately.Update: I talked to Amazon CS. They IMMEDIATELY sent a replacement and a voucher for return of the original unit. I am now happily grommeting away. I am very happy with the stability and functionality of the new unit.it is doing a great job. Yea!Update, update: hundreds of grommets later and still going strong. This is a great tool to use, change grommet sizes easily, design makes it easy to secure grommets without too much strength needed. So glad I gave it a second chance.

Needed to make the holes in my curtains a bit larger for the rod. This was the best value I saw on Amazon. It's sturdy & very easy to use. I made a sizing error & need an even bigger hole than this came with. I'm currently researching if I can get a bigger gromet & use it with this tool.

The item came and within 2 minutes cracked at the base. The metal they use for this item is not durable at all and you will have to send it back as soon as it breaks. I would stay away from this one.

I would have given 5 stars but I did not because I needed to buy the die sets that I wanted separately. It's a tiny gripe but it's the only complaint that I could find.
