Great for the young scientist
Perfect gift for our grandson. Something to help him improve thinking skills. Challenging! A learning tool.

😍
My 5 year old son is obsessed with this electrical kit!

Great activity kit but hard to get it going.
It was hard to get the project working. Once the project was assembled, we needed to go back and make sure the metal clips were touching the metal brackets correctly or else it would not work. Because of this I would not give it a five star because we would make sure the metal parts were touching, but with all the assemble handling sometimes we would move the motor again. Basically the motor metal clips are very thin and looks fragile and bend easily. Other than this, the plastic pieces look of good quality material and are easy to put together. The pieces are colorful and the finished project is colorful and attractive to my son. The kit comes with a little tool that you can use to pull off the pieces which is helpful when you need to un-assemble it. This will happen since you use the same pieces to build several models. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The kit was very attractive to my son which he likes to build things, but when it came to the project not working my husband had to jump in to help and make sure that all connections were correct.

Absolute junk!
The parts do not fit together as they should and some are easily damaged. If an adult cannot put the pieces together, how can you expect an 8 year old child to do so. One battery case cover would not latch in place, the motor contacts are just too flimsy and easily damaged...they should be permanently installed by the manufacturer. My grandson lost interest as I attempted to effect repairs and we never made it past the first experiment. In the garbage!

Awesome!
This kit teaches from the most basic step to much more complicated. With guidance, my 8 year old learned multiple physics and engineering concepts and was super excited about her creations. Make sure you have at least two new AA batteries on hand.

Motor failed within 5 minutes of operation
The concept and instructions outline a good program for introduction to electronics. However, the components don't work together very well. The motor failed within 5 minutes of operation.

Didn’t start to use it until a few days ago, and we couldn’t get the damn thing to work! Had issues with placement of little metal thingies as the instructions weren’t that clear, at least not to an old fart like me. Dumped it on my nephew to figure out, but he couldn’t either.

Looks exactly as advertised. Bought as present for next month so don't know how good as yet .

Soldering defective. Does not work. Very poor quality and no quality control.

There's always a place for educational toys and understanding the basics of electrical engineering is a very useful skillset. There's much to applaud in this set. The instructions are well produced and put the different projects into perspective as well as making the builds fairly straightforward. Some of the components need to be sourced from around the house, but I think this just adds to the creativity required. Some of the elements were a little flimsy and some finessing was required to get elements to work. The does give rise to a little concern about how often these can be pulled apart and rebuilt. However, I think this is a good idea that is well executed and will make a very good present for any bright and enquiring-minded child.
