Looks durable
We just got it and looks nice and my son loves it. It’s perfect for a toddler. Material feels durable let’s see how long it lasts.

Inexpensive, but fun. Does the job.
This is inexpensive, but fun. It does the job: it transforms my four year old into Captain America. And- it doubles as a frisbee that flies through the house, but that's my problem.Something that parents or gift-givers might want to know is that this scratches so easily. my four year old has had the shield for a little more than 18 hours, he was asleep for 9 of those hours. This shield has taken a beating! It's okay, though. For $11, Captain America has been unstoppable and has been racing Iron Man and Super Man around the house for going on 10 hours. Please excuse me while I go get some more coffee.

Lasted a half hour.
I really hate to give a bad review. Especially on a cheap kids toy. I didn't expect it to look great. I didn't expect it to be anything special. I just wanted a Captain America shield for my 4 year old son. Who absolutely loves Captain America. It's basically a Frisbee with a strap to put an arm in. No problems there. But it broke about a half hour after my son started playing with it. Obviously the plastic is even cheaper than it looks. I paid like 12 bucks for this pile of crap. And now my son is upset because he wants it & he doesn't want it broken. I tried superglue, but it didn't work. So now I have to buy another one. But not this one. It almost wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the fact that it took a week for it to get here. Just to crack immediately after playing with it.

Great costume prop, Not a Toy.
As a Toy 6 1/2 out of 10As a costume prop 10Bang for your buck 9My kids loved them, they played with them all the time. Had to make them strictly playroom and outside toys, cause they are heavy enough and sturdy enough to break lights, lamps, and other fragile things. You could probably damage drywall if thrown be an adult or teen. I have two twin toddlers, if you have toddlers its safe. They are not to be used as chairs or stools, they break...had to buy a third one for em. Don't apply to much force to the top!!! Hes 43lbs snapped right in half!!

Fun Addition For Costume Wearing
I was leery about what I was going to receive after reading some of the reviews, but I was happy with the Shield upon first look. Given as a gift for a 7 year old whom I'm told by his parents really enjoys it but leaves it all around the house (inside and outside) when done playing for the day, leaving the parents to clean up. They've even remarked at how sturdy it feels.
