Comebacks For Lawyer Jokes: The Restatement of Retorts

Got it as a Christmas gift for my brother-in-law who is a lawyer and a natural debater. Fit his sense of humor perfectly 😂

Got this for my bf’s law school graduation. We both were laughing out loud at the cheesy but clever humor.

Well-written, many of the common lawyer jokes included. Was a little disappointed by the lack of sparkling wit contained in the comebacks ... however, one must remember that they were written for an audience which does not have a lawyer's intelligence and therefore allowances should be made. Be that as it may, it is a good 'go-to' guide for the inevitably boring black-tie event which one is obliged to attend every now and then - not to mention well-intentioned friends and relatives.Next can we have a book of jokes about lawyers for lawyers?

Bought this for my niece who just got her law degree. She loved it!

We gave this as a law school graduation gift and it was a hit. I think it went over better than getting a future lawyer a book of lawyer jokes.

Funny stuff - my son - a lawyer too - liked it and so did I. (I read it before I gave it to him but don't tell him that!).

The book was only so-so. Maybe a stocking stuffer for a lawyer friend next year.
