The shoe is very soft but would suggest getting larger size. I usually ware 8.5, had to reorder for 9. That was still a bit tight. I was unsure on the rubber sole but when I wore at my dance lesson on a great floor I was pleasantly surprised on how well they worked while dancing.

I love these shoes, am addicted to them. They are extremely comfortable. I size up a full size. I don’t dance but only really feel supported arch with split sole that these wonderful shoes have. I don’t wear them if it’s raining or wet out. The arch support is incredible. I even have a pair I only wear inside the house they are so comfortable. The ones I wear outside have not worn out yet year or more old.

Waltz, rhumba (not the vacuum, but Amazon sold me a great one of those too), fox trot, swing, the hustle, and the list goes on. I can kick off my flip-flops (got those on Amazon) and pop on my little dance shoes, and I don't even need sox. The bottoms are suede, so they slide around the floor much more gracefully than I. They are quite comfy, though I would not run a marathon in them because there isn't a ton of support. Let's be honest; I would never run a marathon.

It has been a long time since I have bought jazz shoes. The shoes are great. I bought them to replace a pair bought many years ago and the size of them was no longer visible. So I had no idea what size the old ones were. I went by the post that said order street shoe size. This is incorrect. Jazz shoes should not be lose. They fit if it was going to be a walking around shoe. But for dance, order a half size down for correct fit.

I used this shoe for my salsa practice and love it! It’s soft, it stretches a bit, and true to size. I am tired of using heels to practice and this is a great option.

They fit my foot well and are extremely comfortable

I got these shoes for swing dancing and I can spin around as much as I want without losing grip.:) leather is also gentle and soft to your feet.

Really logjt and soft. Need time till make comfortable like your feet.

I’m a ballroom dancer and like to practice at home in Bloch jazz split sole shoes for comfort and to really be able to ‘feel the floor’. My street shoes are 7.5 but I need some toe room due to bunions. Based on other reviews I ordered 8 but it’s a tiny bit big, so now I’ve ordered 7.5 which is what I always used to buy. The leather stretches with use. Love these jazz shoes, always good quality. They are jazz shoes, not ballroom shoes so they fit more like a soft glove.

I loved how they felt, however after ordering 8.5 (which is my regular shoe size and the product was advertised as true to size) I had to return them because they were WAY too small. Ordered half a size up, was still not fitting. The width is fine, but the length is nowhere close to usual shoe size. So I wanted to exchange them to another pair another half a size up and they were out of stock. I think they are great for dancing, just order one size up than you normally wear.

(+)Based on the comments I TOOK A SIZE UP, 9 instead of my regular 8, great because it is not too loose, I can adjust with the lace, and when I was injured on my bug toe, enabled to wear shoes, The space accommodated the bandage and allowed me to dance still within hurting and compressing my toe.Flexible and compared to my others flats, I can dips, flips and spins without any issues. No need my heels and feeling so comfy dancing for hours during classes or out.(-) Wish it was of a better external material but meh..for the price. If i find them in good leather, Will opt in

Great jazz split-sole practices shoes. I wear size 7.5 street shoe and this is perfect in a size 7.5 They are supposed to fit like a soft leather glove. I practice my ballroom dance in these shoes too so I can "feel the floor" better.
