I bought this lamp about a year ago. The light is very pretty, especially in the dark, and it looks very modern on the desk. But there are a few issues. The magnet is very sensitive. Even a small draft or a little movement nearby makes the globe stick to the top immediately. It doesn’t stay in the levitation mode for long, and I often have to adjust it again. The globe itself is also not the best quality. The materials and printing could be better. We don’t use it very often, but it still works after a year. I am giving it 4 stars because the light is nice, but the globe quality is not great and it keeps sticking to the top.

Just received this toy . It’s amazing, incredibly easy to set up and it rotates. I am a retired physicist and always wanted this(yes I’m a child at heart) . The principal is fascinating and definitely something that could calm as well as educate you on magnetic fields. It’s also a good night light. (Can use as an excuse when the wife tells you to stop wasting money)

This light is awesome! Purchased as a gift for 13 year old boy and he loves it. He was in awe of how to hovers by itself. Easy to use and set up. Ambient lighting only does not give off a lot of light.

I bought this for my son for Christmas, im sure he'll love it

I purchased this for my 11 year old son for his birthday. He thought it was the coolest thing, and spent over an hour just moving the globe in and out of the magnetic area. This was true to size, and contrary to some of the reviews, it's very easy to get the globe in the right position. It comes with a little plastic tool, but your finger works just as well. The whole system seems plastic, but well-made. My son has dropped the globe a couple of times from a 4 foot distance and there are no indents or breaks. My son was able to read all of the writing, and I was happy that it was marked, because it became educational as well as cool. He placed it in the background during online schooling for everyone to see. I would recommend this product for kids and adults alike.

Excellent nigth light, the globe allows you to learn the geography of the Earth. Good as a talking point in the living room as you watch the globe float, displaying the Earth. Great price and a fantastic gift for all ages.
