Perfect for a quick cook and adds delicious flavour
Perfect flavours, good consistency and got my mother’s approval as well haha! The quantity in a packet is enough to make at least 2-3 servings for 2 people, and i paired it with bhindi as well (not just paneer) it turned out fab!

Good heat level, but the flavors are muddled
I was hoping that this would be better but, unfortunately, I can only rate it fair at best.I have spent many years all over India as well as the rest of Southeast Asia and East Asia working in the food industry and I love all Asian food. Unfortunately, Indian cooking in particular often requires a great deal of preparation and, while all of our meals are home-cooked, I only have so much time every night. Finding an easy-to-prepare and tasty prepared product makes my life a little easier and a little more fun.First, I only received one pouch instead of three. It came thrown in a box with no case of its own; just one lonely pouch. I am not taking away any stars for this; Amazon has a separate area for reporting on the packaging, delivery, etc.The heat level is high but that works out well for my wife and me. However, I would likely not serve this to guests, especially those unaccustomed to spicy food. It is hot.You need to have ghee on hand; you can find that in any Asian market and many western markets as well and, of course, on Amazon (no preference to this brand; it’s good but so are many others as well: https://www.amazon.com/Grass-Fed-4th-Heart-Certified-Keto-Friendly/dp/B01M19Z219)I happened to be making a tofu dish this night, and I thought that this would be a good way to test it as they suggest paneer and shrimp. I could just use tofu and shrimp.I wouldn’t say it was bad, but I wouldn’t say it was good either. While it had a decent level of heat, other than the ghee and the tamarind I put in as per their recipe (you need tamarind powder and lemon juice on hand as well), the flavors were just a muddle with nothing distinctive about it.Again, de gustibus non est disputandum; everyone likes what they like and doesn’t like what they don’t; you cannot argue taste. There’s no reason for me to say that you won’t like this, but there's no reason to suspect that you will, either.Review of: Ready to Cook Indian Meals | 100% Veg| 100% Natural | Mangalorean Ghee Roast Curry Paste| Blend of Herbs & Spices Paste| Gluten-Free| Non-GMO | Authentic Cuisine Pack of 3 x 4.9 Oz

Tastes Nice but Confusing Description
If you are a fan of curry dishes and like your curry on the hot side of spicy, this is probably right up your alley. I admit that I wasn't quite prepared for how spicy this was. It took me a little by surprise. This stuff is on fire! I am not exaggerating in the slightest. If you are sensitive to highly spicy things, this might be a little too overwhelming for you. I like spicy sauces but this one was a little intense for me. People who like strongly spiced things would probably fall head-over-heels for this. Aside from the strong spicy side, I like the flavors. It is definitely very flavourful and added quite a variety of flavor to my chicken. This has a good deal of saltiness to it so I would recommend adding this before adding any extra additional salt to your dish.I do have to say that the description and the back of the label contradict each other. In the product description title it says that this is gluten free but on the ingredient list on the back of the packet it says that this contains gluten. This was a disappointment since my children and I have celiac disease. I'm glad I caught this before adding it to my entire dish. I did taste a little bit of the chicken with this on the top and it was delicious, but did not want to risk exposing my family to gluten. This is something that is good to know beforehand if you have allergies in your family.

Eating it now... Yowza! Spicy!
Let me start off by saying that I really like spices, even those that lean on the hot side, but this stuff is even making my nose run, and that is not an easy task to do to me! Whether I like the taste or not I brought it down one star because the packaging does not mention the velocity of spicy heat this stuff packs! Maybe more just snuck into this particular package???I tried to follow the instructions best I could with what I had in my kitchen. I actually have some paneer in my freezer, but I thought of it too late and I did not want to wait for it to defrost! So I used a lb of chicken breast instead. I also did not have any "curd" so I looked it up and found that it is similar to plain yogurt, which I didn't have either, but I did have a tub of plain kefir cheese... close enough. Since it is just me eating this to night, and probably for the next 3 nights, I threw a couple other ingredients in, like onions and a can of garbanzo beans. Even though tis is called a "ghee roast" I just found there was too much ghee (I never use this much butter or oil) so I cut down considerably on the use of ghee, and also added a little less salt... It didn't need it!I think it turned out pretty good, despite the heat. Maybe not authentic from other reviews that I have read. I also served it on a bed of brown rice. I wasn't raised with Indian foods, but, I sure do love it!

Too spicy and too much garlic.
Disclaimer: I received this product for free through the Vine program. This curry paste is very pungent and spicy. I made it according to package directions and it was too hot for my taste. I had to remove some sauce and thin the mixture with some coconut milk to make it more palatable. It also has too much garlic. I'm sure it will appeal to some, but I'm not a fan. My wife thought the flavor was good, but she also thought it was too hot. Neither of my grown kids thought much of it either. If you do use this curry paste, I would recommend adding just a fraction of the amount called for and tasting it before you put in the whole package.

Spicy and delicious
I followed the cooking instructions with a substitution of butter. The end result was that the meal turned out to be delicious, spicy, and a bit oily. I do not think I put too much butter (2 Tbsp), but it was rather oily. Also, this pack took slightly longer than what the package states. However, my chicken curry came out to be delicious and rich in flavor. I often make curry from various powders, and I have to say this one was easy to cook and is richer and pungent in flavor. Also, adding some veggies while cooking was not a bad idea. The instructions do not suggest adding any veggies, but it was good idea for me to add some carrots and onions. Overall, this pack was worth it to try, and it is spicy. A little over $3 per pack that feeds 3~4 people is not a bad deal, but I recommend putting little less ghee or butter and adding more veggies. Fyi, my house smelled like curry for two days after I made this meal.
