Hell to install and takes awhile to function
you have to have a phone hot spot to install the software from the malware-infested site the link takes you to. takes a while to switch over to carplay mode and often says failed to connect.

I’ve only had this device a few days and I have come to the honest conclusion that “it works when it wants to.” That’s it. That is the summary and the conclusion lol. So, basically, it’s up to you to decide if you want to spend money on something that only works randomly.

Works in a 16 Pilot as described
I wanted to add Apple CarPlay to my 16 Pilot (17 and higher have it) and wanted to try this solution before finding a 17 radio. This works as described. As long as you download the apk first it works. Audio output runs over Bluetooth so just make sure you connect to your cars Bluetooth as well. Happy

This plug and play will not charge but drains phones battery.
Plug and play works fine but instead of charging it drains my phones battery. Not good for long runs. If you want to charge your phone and use apple carplay/android auto this product will not do it.

Won’t connect
Does not work with iPhone 8 Plus connecting to a 2010 Honda Accord LXP Thru an Android 10.1” touchscreen shipped from China (guess I should have expected that) but, will not pair. Says incompatible and not available
