Bulldog1700100117 15" A-Frame Sidewind Jack - 5000 lb. Capacity

My 99 Sunline (~600lbs tongue weight) had an old Atwood jack that worked very well, but the bearing finally bit the dust. I bought this 5000 lb jack since I drive an Ford Excursion that is very heavy, and figured a beefier jack won't hurt while I'm lifting the truck slightly to attach the weight distribution bars. This jack is crazy hard to crank as compared to the old jack. I need to use two hands and my wife can't crank it at all.So, I sent it back and they sent a replacement. Same hard cranking issue. Next step, see if I can take the bearing out of this and put it in the old jack.

When ups dropped it off I thought they left garbage on my porch it was so mangled and beat up. After opening what what left of the retape job the jack it self looked like it was used. Old grease coming out of places it shouldn’t and what appeared to be wet paper that dried all over the Jack. The Jack works properly but will take some cleaning up before install.

I am installing a tongue box on my trailer to hold straps, WD40 and other small trailer supplies. This jack replaced my Bulldog pivoting side mount jack. I was happy with it's quality feel and the new A Frame side wind is every bit as nice.

Install was simple & fast

By paying an additional $25 for the same product I thought it would not be delivered all scratched up. When opening the box, the jack looks like it has already been used. Will have to be repainted in order to prevent rust. Not a happy camper.

Works perfect on my 26’ Keystone Cougar Travel Trailer. Easy to use.

Doesn’t crank easier like a heavier tonnage should feels more like a light white one
