Extreme time savings. My shooting has improved because of this item.
I simply wore out my first Ultimate Clip Loader, I came back to Amazon to buy another one. According to Amazon, I purchased this item for the fist time in January 2012. I shoot a minimum of 1,000 rounds of .22 per month (and many months, way more than that) through my Ruger Mark II and 22/45. At minimum, I have shot 72,000 rounds since I bought this, which means I have loaded 7200 clips using the Ultimate Clip Loader. This review is based on a loader that I bought in 2012, so the product may have been upgraded to address my biggest (and only) complaint.Let's start with the one con. As I mentioned above, I have loaded at least 7,200 clips using the Ultimate Clip Loader. The screw that down the thumb stud for the follower is held in plastic. The plastic over the years has held up remarkably well, but it was showing some serious signs of use. Over the last 6 months or so, I had to readjust the screw every 5th magazine or so since the thumb stud for the follower would push it up and I wouldn't get 10 rounds loaded. It wasn't too annoying since the plastic was so worn that I could easily turn the screw with my fingers. Is this a manufacturing defect, no. Would it be nice if the screw would be held by metal instead of plastic, yes. For this reason alone, I am buying another loader. Now onto the positives. Once you get the screw adjusted correctly and learn the technique to load the ammo, this thing is a freaking life saver. I mainly shoot my Mark II. I have 10 clips for it. Including loading and reloading the Ultimate Clip Loader, I can have all 10 clips loaded in less than 60 secs. That's 100 round of ammo in under a minute. The most time consuming part of the process is putting the bullets into the clip loader (which involves reaching into a brick, grabbing a handful and dumping it into the reloader. I will go as far to say that my shooting has improved in all aspects. I have been able to send significantly more rounds down range since I am not stuck at the bench manually reloading mags. This is an excellent investment. Even if you sporadically shoot, this saves a significant amount of time, which allows you to enjoy shooting and not spend your day at the range reloading mags.

Makes my .22 a TON of fun!
As a youngster, some of my fondest memories involve the times spent shooting with my Grandpa. Now at the age of 55, I find that getting back into the sport of shooting without my Grandpa around to buy the guns and ammunition, it can get very expensive. So I invested in a Ruger Mark III, a fun, accurate, reliable .22 that doesn't cost much more to shoot than a CO2 pellet gun. In fact the biggest down-side to me was the time it was taking to load the bulk ammo that I so love to shoot in large quantities.I looked at various speed-loaders and tried several, including the type that hold down and/or lock the follower button on the magazine. They are a low-cost alternative to getting a permanent blister on my left thumb, but still didn't seem to speed up the leading process.Enter the Ultimate Clip Loader (UCL). I read some pretty amazing reviews here, and considering what I have been paying for center-fire ammo for my other handguns, I decided it was worth a try. As always, Amazon's price and delivery were excellent and a few days later I was off to the range with my Ruger and 2 magazines, a bulk pack of ammo from the local big-box store, and my new UCL.The ammunition reservoir on the UCL loaded easily and quickly, save for the couple of rounds of spillover when I tried to hurry the process. A few gentle shakes later 15-20 rounds had dropped nose-first, in a row, into the alignment chamber ready to be loaded. Hold the UCL at a slight angle (a guide is stamped on the loader) and insert a magazine, and the shells dropped, neatly stacked, into a now fully loaded mag. Repeat with the other magazine, and in no time at all I had 20 rounds loaded, ready to send downrange. The time to reload got even quicker when I didn't have to stop to reload the reservoir...I'd guess around 10 seconds to fully load both clips. A few times the magazines didn't load the full 10 rounds when first inserted in the UCL, however a couple of gentle taps or a slight shake and the rest of the ammo fell into place. As a testament to the form, fit, and function of the Ultimate Clip Loader, I sent just over 200 rounds downrange in roughly 30 minutes. This product is exactly what anyone who wants to shoot a LOT of ammo quickly with their Ruger or Browning Buckmark needs to invest in.

They were not exaggerating
This thing loaded all my 22 mags in a quarter of the time with zero abuse to my thumbs. This thing should be in stores around the world.

A useful tool after a small modification
At first I wondered if this was worth thecaggrivationit was giving me, so I resorted to reading the instructions. They say that waxed bullets will be problematic so I sprayed my cci std velocity bullets with silicone as recommended and the sticking problem looks pretty much cured. The second issue as shown in my photo is the too small screw head slipping off the mag button. I found a square nut that fit well enough and no longer have that annoying problem. What I hate is manufacturers releasing a product that has obvious flaws like this one has but fortunately there is a simple solution to make it work
