I've tried nyx products before, but never foundation, I do opt for higher end but I wanted something affordable that I can use for general outing etc when I don't need to make much effortThe shade doesn't quite much me so for that reason I can't use this, however the foundation texture is quite thick, so will have somewhat decent coverage easily buildable, but doesn't feel to heavy which is good, I tried a small patch were I have some blemishes and it's covered it well, I can't comment on if it oxidises as alot if foundations do even some higher end ones do thatI feel like this might get cakey a dry the longer you wear but my might be salvageable with powderingComes in a glass bottle and a dropper which is nice way more hygienic, I will deffiently go to the shops to check out the foundation so I can get a more accurate shade for me and see how it goes from there

I've always been on the lookout for a perfect foundation for my oily/combination skin, so I'm keen to try new ones. I've never used NYX foundation before, and this is offers a fairly nice natural finish, but I can't achieve much coverage at all.Pros:• Natural finish which adds a nice smooth (but thin) pigmented layer to your skin• Great range of colours with useful swatch image on the listing• Lightweight on and doesn't clog pores• Compact little bottle• Easy to apply: with the convenient dropper I just drip the foundation directly on my face and use my fingers to spread it (using a brush/blender lifted too much product) - it's a very watery consistency and dries quickly• Vegan ingredientsCons:• Even with skin prep and exfoliation, the foundation cakes on my dry skin around my nose• Coverage too light: even with the "full coverage amount" (3 drops per half of face) it stands no chance at covering my freckles. Even with building it doesn't thicken up• I found the bottle a bit tricky to hold and I dropped it and spilt half of the product on the floor - absolutely devastating!So overall, unfortunately if I'd have bought this I'd be disappointed, especially for the price. Mainly, I just can't achieve good coverage; it does market it as a light, "true to skin" foundation which I'd say is fairly spot on, but it also states you can use more drops for fuller coverage which isn't right for me personally. So for a subtle, thin liquid foundation this is a nice finish, but if you want anything more than sheer coverage this isn't suitable.

I’m actually pretty impressed with this foundation. I don’t wear a huge amount of makeup and I’m always looking for a more lighter foundation that still offers enough coverage and this is great for that. You don’t get a huge amount for your money though which is a shame.When I first got this fondation I was a little disappointed in the size of the bottle and did think it was going to last me very long, but the foundation is thin and you don’t need as much as you sometimes do with other liquid foundations so it is going to last longer than I first thoughtEven a thin layer of this offers great coverage and once dry you can barely feel it on your face at all. It’s not oily or sticky but it still stays put all day.Overall I am happy with this foundation but I’m still a little disappointed in the small bottle for the hefty price. I would however still recommend it as it is a good quality foundation.

I have combination skin and liked the sound of this foundation so I could choose whether to have a light or full coverage.Firstly you have to shake it to mix it as it separates very quickly in the bottle. I applied it as I usually do my foundation, on top of moisturised and primed skin. I used a sponge to apply. I started with 5 drops and it didn’t cover my whole face so had to add more even though I was going for a light coverage first. It was very patchy so I added more to even it out however it still was very patchy and actually made any redness more noticeable.I added more and blended but it didn’t get any better. It seemed to take better to areas where I’m usually oily. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem this foundation works on my skin type which is a shame as it sounded a really good idea. I ended up washing it off and putting on my usual foundation instead.
