great blade for resawing
i had a ayro blade with 4 teeth per inch on my band saw and it would not cut,,,,i was cutting a round circle out of about a 5 inch tall piece of wood that i glued together,,,i changed to this blade and it goes thru it like a hot knife thru butter,,,now i cant speak about how long it will last or stay sharp,,,,but im well pleased with the blade,,

Super sharp
Blade is sharp and cuts wood easily. I need a more narrow blade to make tighter curves in hard maple.

Sharp blades for thick wood
I installed this on my 14" Porter-Cable and it works really well. Sharp. My first cut was through a slab of wood 2 3/8", with curving cuts throughout. The blade did great. I have other Olson blades and they also do a nice job. Always make sure your tension is correct and the guides are set properly.

Wonderful for resawing. Get it. End the frustration.
I bought this blade based on the review of "amazon buyer" who posted his review in March 2019. Like him, I was totally frustrated with my earlier attempts at resawing. I could not get a straight cut! I have an older Ridgid bandsaw, but it has seen little use. It has not been abused. I have a number of good quality blades, but apparently I did not have the right one. I have a band saw fence sold by Hartville Tools to help with the process. No matter what I did, all the cuts were ugly and all over the place. In a fit of frustration, I even used a tiny 1/8" wide blade.. What could it hurt? Everything else had failed. That did not work either. Then I got this Olson blade. I made a wonderful straight cut on the first pass. Wow! I never thought that a blade could make such a difference. Sometimes I second guess myself and think that I must have adjusted something on the saw that made the difference. If I did, I have no idea what that was. Besides resawing straight, this blade cuts fast in my opinion. It's great. For the sake of fairness, the wood in the photo is cedar, which is easy to cut because it is soft. I have yet to try oak, etc. My earlier, failed attempts at resawing were also done on cedar.
