Bought based on another review to prepare baby bottles during nights - and it works!
Bought it after reading another review stating they needed a thermos flask that keeps water at a minimum of 70 degrees for several hours, to be used to prepare baby feeding bottles during the night - which was exactly what we needed, too, but the original Tommee Tippee thermos flask (for warming feeds) doesn't hold heat well at all. So bought this one after reading bespoke review - and it works for us, too. Got ourselves a cheap food thermometer to check, and if filled in boiling, water is being kept at above 70 degrees from approx. 23 pm to 6 am. Brilliant as saves us a kettle in the bedroom or rushing downstairs in the middle of the night to put on the kettle in the kitchen (which isn't fun with a hungry baby)... would buy again!

Best I've ever used. Just buy this.
What a great product.Cons:- I have burned my mouth several times because it's so good at keeping liquids warm.- I would like it if the top with the cup function was a bit more isolated, it can get a bit too hot when using as a cup. (This is no big deal, as it is not used to seal the liquid, so while the top bit is not that isolated, the liquid is perfectly isolated).Pros:- Nice and iconic design- Great materials- I burned my tongue about 10 hours after pouring in almost boiling water. It's that good at keeping the temperature.- Sturdy, feels like it could absolutely be dropped. If you're like me and have looked at 10+ thermoses by now, just stop and buy this!

Stylish and it works
Looks great and feels good quality as I would expect from a Thermos flask. It is the right size for one person 500ml and won’t take up lots of space in your pack/bag. I purchased to keep tea warm for half a day or so and it does this very well. I always brew a bit extra so that when making up I can put a small amount in the flask before I fill it for real, just to warm it up a little and bring the inside temperature up beforehand. I just put about 20ml in the bottom, put the lid on and turn flask up and down a couple of times. My thought is it will bring the internal temperature up so that it does not cool the main stuff down when I fill it. That way I think it stays hot for longer. Also I try not to take the top off until I’m ready to drink the lot as again I think it will cool it quicker. All straightforward stuff but in my mind it helps.

Excellent!
This is the best flask I’ve ever had the pleasure of using. The texture on it provides excellent grip, it’s big enough for my needs, the stainless steel cap, although small-ish, can be used as a cup and the plastic cap that provides the seal on the flask has this simple but effective system. Take the cap off, put your tea or coffee inside, seal it and whenever you need to have a sip you aren’t required to take the cap off but just unscrew it a bit and, with one of the two arrows drawn on the top of the cap pointing towards the inside of your mug, tilt it. Your tea/coffee will pour through one of the two channels manufactured into the sealing cap which eliminates the need to completely remove it every single time you want a sip, keeping your tea/coffee warm for longer. It just seems like it’s been well thought out.How effective is it? Very! Keeps my tea hot for at least 7-8 hours and it still is warm after 24 hours. I can say that because I sometimes forget to wash it after work on Friday and only remember on Saturday or Sunday. Even after 36 hours, if left closed, my tea is still slightly warm. The trick is to pour some boiling water in the flask, cover it and leave it there for 5-10 minutes, then throw that away and put your tea or coffee in.All in all, a very good product which is worth the money! I just hope they won’t change it into something worse as I’m going to definately be coming back to this if anything bad happens to mine.

Simple, effective.
Not a great deal different to look at compared to generic ones we've had in the past, but the simple screw in lid bodes well for longevity. 500ml size seems hardly any bigger externally to our previous 350ml (a tiny bit taller) but gives enough capacity that this is enough for two of us on most leisurely walks. I've not tried a long test of how long it keeps things hot. Bear in mind when reading other comments on this that it will depend on how cold the day is and whether you're carrying this in say an outside mesh pocket or inside your pack etc. We've used it on a couple of 15 deg C days carried externally and it was hot (not warm) after 4 hours. Pretty good I think. You can also get spares for these (e.g. a new stopper etc - can'ty see just the seals). Should last years.
