After a few months of use this collar seems to be holding up quite well. Nalla our Dogo Argentino is extremely strong and pulls quite hard so the handle comes in handy and is a must. The buckle seems sturdy and up to the task! The Velcro and stitching are also doing their job and holding up. I’d totally recommend this product to any large dog breed owner! Hope this helps!

This product was awesome. We have an Aussie pup who is about 35 lbs right now. He’s a fairly little guy. We ordered the M. When it arrived, we were impressed by the quality of the material. It was so thick and sturdy. Honestly, it was so thick that we thought it was going to be too big for him, but we let him try it on anyways. We’re glad we did because he loved it. It was really funny, you could see his confidence boost when we put it on. He was like, “oh yeah I look damn good and feel tough.” We still thought it was a little thick for his neck and we took it off. He immediately acted sad. Lol! You might think I’m crazy, but Aussies are very expressive. So we let him wear it.Turns out that it was so nice... we think someone stole it! We live on a very busy corner and sometimes let our pup out to play in our fenced in yard. One day we did this and he came back with no collar. We don’t have a very large yard and we have turned the whole house upside down looking for it! We received our order on Dec 3, and by Dec 9 it was gone! I’ll update this post if we find it. I guess this could tell you two things:1. if we end up finding it, it’s probably not super reflective since we started our search at night time (we were looking with flashlights)2. if someone did steal it, it looks good enough to steal a dog’s collar!!Most likely it came off somewhere and it’s going to turn up, but right now I feel crazy!! Either way, it’s a good looking collar that we and our dog definitely felt good about. If it doesn’t turn up soon, we are definitely going to order another one. It was so study and well built that we’re sure will be his last... if we can keep it on him! I hope this review helps. And if you do end up getting it, hopefully no one steals it since it looks so good. 😂

These collars are so cool. I purchased an orange and a green for my boys. Based on the size chart, I ordered XL. Their old collars are 21” from end to end, they wear them on the last(largest) hole. The smallest these XL collars can adjust to is 24”, so be careful when you order. I’m going to have to send these two back and get size L. BTW, from the pic, the latch/buckle looks like plastic but it is metal, and appears to be high quality.

I bought the red colored collar in the largest size for my 160lb Newfie. I'm impressed with the workmanship, collar material and the hardware. It's not light but not so heavy as to cause me concern that all day wear would be an issuy. I went from a very light weight rolled leather collar to this model and only clip his prong collar on it as a double safety so a lead is never clipped directly into this collar. He's very well trained and works as my service dog so when we are out in public it's good to have backup as our trainer says. I like the way the velcro adjusts and that I can have patches attached to it too. I have had many collars for him as he grew, and this is one of my favorites. This has been a good purchase.

My hardheaded girl has been a problem for walking and we have gone through several different types of collars and training, but this one she is responding to better more and more. Since I walk her on my left, I like the handle right there and also the leash ring. No, it isn't too tight - she has this poochy flab that you can see above the collar. It is there when there is no collar on her. Once adjusted it is easy to put on and off and heavy duty and she doesn't seem to mind having it on. It can be adjusted to not be tight right in front over her trachea. I love the metal buckle with the tabs for opening it. This is not a wear all the time collar, only when going for a walk or when needing more control.
