I was presently surprised at how sturdy this is. I like using these for my badges at work. I just wish that there was a safety where they came apart is pulled, as can be a hazard with some patients.

I ordered this set so I could have different looks with different work outfits. However; the lanyard with the blue beads looks like a subdued blue, slate color on screen. Once received, I found the blue to be more turquoise and bright blue. Not quite what I was expecting.

I recently purchased the 3 Sets Retractable Badge Reel Lanyard with ID Holder in the “Beaded” Style and have mixed feelings about them. While they have some great features, such as being super long and convenient for my 6 foot tall frame, the quality of the product has been disappointing.One of the things I love about these lanyards is their length. As a tall woman, I appreciate that the necklace doesn't look small on me and sits comfortably around my neck. The retractable cord is also a handy feature, as it allows me to easily access my ID and open doors without having to bend over or struggle with a knob.However, the quality of the product has been subpar. I initially wore the blue beaded lanyard, as blue is my favorite color. But I quickly noticed that the wire in the beads was weak and flimsy, causing the necklace to fall to the floor at least once a day. While the wire could be easily pushed back together, it was frustrating to have to regularly fix it.In an attempt to find a sturdier option, I switched to the silver ball beads, which did not have the same issue with the weak wires on the necklace. However, I didn't even make it to my first meeting before the little wire holding the white beads broke. Fortunately, I noticed a tiny hook and was able to remove the white beads and tree to attach the lanyard without them. So far it’s lasted two weeks without breaking.I haven't tried using the necklace with the little rings yet, due to the fact that the silver one is working for me without the white beads. Additionally, after wearing these lanyards at work for just a few months, the ID badge ripped out the bottom due to the weight of my name tag. I stapled it closed, and it seems to be holding up for now.If you are not physically active and don't move around a lot, these lanyards might be more durable. However, as a social worker who is constantly on the go, I need something more robust. Despite the stylish design, the flimsy wires under the beads is too fragile and the overall durability of the product has been disappointing.
