Not faulting the product, but not faulting self either. I totally understand ID and OD sizing, but does any of this stuff fit anything? I have bought probably $40 or more of these various fittings, hoping that something would work with something. So far I’ve managed to utilize two of the dozen or more pieces. You buy a 4 inch table saw collection hood, and a reducer, thinking that something might fit - no luck. This one example... that’s only part of it. I’m thinking I’ve been out smarted... maybe it’s the 4 inch collection hose that I’m needing. Either way, I’m done. I’ll heat and stretch, and duct tape it together if I have to. With the times we are in, I’m not going to a Post Office.

The outside diameters are what is in the product description, which means this product cannot actually do what it says. It cannot connect to a 2 1/2in hose if it has the same diameter.

I can’t find the right size connector for my purpose. Wasting money and collecting dust now.
