This is the transcript from my review video: These cardboard boxes are brilliant. They're brilliant moving boxes. They're easy to put together, they're easy to construct and they're very solid and they're very strong. I know that because when I was trying to break it down it was difficult to break down. I bought various different moving boxes over the years moving within America, moving from America to England, moving from England back to America and one thing I find is that the weak ones they only last so long. Personally I tend to reuse boxes because there's fair amounts of moving going on and these ones were a good price. They were delivered quickly, they were strong, they also had the steel, they've got the wardrobe hanging attachment within it and I think if you're looking for something this is a great quality at a very very good price, a reasonable price and it's even better than the prices I'd found online in the big stores at least at the time. So I'm happy to give these a great review and if you're looking for a wardrobe box this is a very very good one to buy.

First these came quickly, which was important because we had to get them packed for the movers and ran out of time! The pack of three made it easy for two people to move . The box is easy to assemble and disassemble. (and keep for future use) The bar across the box to hold clothes is pretty sturdy and was able to hold the heavier clothing items. (mens suits, winter jackets) without crumbling or bending. The movers were able to move these easily as well and were able to put in. the appropriate bedrooms. Buying a 3 pack was a small discount, rather than buying invidually as well

Were what I needed

Not much you can say about a box but here we go. The uBoxes Wardrobe Moving Boxes are heavy duty. They did a good job of protecting my clothes. I added a few shirts and winter coats to test the strength. It did not fall apart until I had 6 heavy winter coats. So that should give you an idea of how much it can support. If you are a numbers person it came out to 15 to 20 garments. This is not the only box specially designed for your hanging clothes but they are one of the best ones on the market for the price. The wardrobe boxes sold by U-Haul are thicker however they are also 3 times the price. The quality is not that much better to justify paying 3 times more. The uBoxes Wardrobe Moving Boxes come flat. To put it together you have to open them up so they are box-shaped, then fold in the flaps at the bottom and tape them with packing tape. Then you stand it up on that end. Take the metal bar and insert it across the top of the box into the slots. The top of the box can also be folded and taped when the box is full if you are shipping them. MAKE SURE YOU GET some good packing tape!

I packed three of these boxes, average weight of about 15lbs of clothes inside - maybe 20 hangers of everything from big sweatshirts to ties to t-shirts. PROS: hold a lot of clothes, easy to assemble. Durability exceeded my expectations. The boxes went through a two story decline to a PACKED Uhaul (box sturdy enough to place at least 20lbs on top if folded and sealed properly, 10 hour drive, and then a 3 story incline. Only one minor issue of a side handle ripping when lifting through the door into the destination. CONS: awkward to carry - needed two people. not because of the weight, but because of the width/length. Pretty expensive, but worth it in the end.

I was excited for these boxes, as we were moving and had a good number of clothes that needed to be transported safely to Illinois and found these boxes would keep all of our clothes hung, alleviating the need for additional unpacking work when we arrived at our destination. The box itself was sturdy however the hanging mechanism wound up crushing the top of the box with not alot of weight (estimate 20 dress shirts and 5 pants per wardrobe). One could surmise that the hanging mechanism should not buckle under these weight restrictions but that is what happened on all of the boxes. The intent to deliver a good product was there, the execution fell a bit short.

I am actually in the middle of my moving process and had to stop to leave a review for these wardrobe boxes, which I never do. I just find leaving reviews too time consuming, but in this case, I HAD to make an exception for these. I've honestly never used wardrobe boxes before for a personal move, for I always assumed they were for moving companies only, or just thought they were just too cumbersome to bother with. Boy, was I wrong! My thinking was that I would spring for these and use them to store my out-of-season clothing after the move was completed. But I read some reviews prior that had me wary of my purchase, so I was doubtful they would survive the first trip. The photo you see is a full load of full-length dresses, plus 4-5 full-length, heavy robes stuffed in the bottom of the box. This is after the wardrobe box had been moved to the new home and opened to see how the clothes had shifted, which you can see there is very little. The metal bar holds all different types of hangers, as shown, I have an eclectic collection..lol. The box itself never gave way to the weight of the clothes, which was most surprising to me because I thought for certain the holes where the bar is inserted would at least tear some during transit. Now, we did not move far with these boxes, perhaps 10 minutes one way. That may have made the difference in wear and tear in the lack of break down of our boxes, but I honestly think these boxes would hold up to long distance travel. I highly recommend these wardrobe boxes for anyone looking for something to store hanging clothes to move/store. You will not be disappointed, I promise you.
