Miele Vacuum Cleaner Generic Replacement Dust Brush Attachment

I'll be ordering this brush instead of the official Miele replacement because the quality is leaps and bounds better. The Miele original wears out extremely fast even though the bristles are stiff (and likely to scratch surfaces). I've been using it for 4 months and I LOVE the Miele vacuum cleaner! So far it's worth every cent. But the brush that comes with it is terrible. The adjustable angle is great, but it doesn't make up for really bad bristles. This non-official replacement brush is also adjustable, so it's ALL GOOD.

My Miele is over 20yrs. old. Have gone through all of my accessory tools twice over. Don’t want to spend $$$$ on an old appliance.There are no problems whatsoever with this brush. As to the complaints concerning stiffness, the bristles are shorter than the name brand so not as flexible. Still comparable. Still works just fine.

Fits the Miele perfectly, great price, great quality!

As a replacement for the original Miele attachment, which I stupidly destroyed vacuuming what I thought were dry paint scrapings, this is an excellent alternative. MUCH cheaper than the official Miele product, it nonetheless works very well and, in some respects, its oval shape may be superior to the round Miele.

This product cost nine dollars versus $28 for OEM product. Fits perfectly and works great. I had tried another non-branded product via Amazon and it did not fit properly. Buy this one! Picture shows, vacuum model, and old / new attachment.

I've used vacuum dusting attachments my entire life - on vacuum cleaners built in the 1960's to current models and many inbetween. I have never used an attachment as poorly designed and prone to damaging items as this "dusting attachment" brush. Everything about this brush is inadquate. The shape in which the bristles are attached, bristle length, and lack of density all makes this brush nearly impossible to use without the hard plastic coming into contact with the item it is dusting. There are too few bristles, assembled too sparsely over too narrow an area to provide either the strength or protection needed for any vacuum-dusting task. This is apparent from the first time you try to use it.I had my eye on one of these for probably 10 years, to purchase as an "extra" for designated items. When I finally went to purchase, of course, it was gone. I bought this instead. It was not worth it. The product itself is less a dusting attachment, more of a 'hack job of a dusting attachment" - likely to scratch the items it was purchased to protect. You could use it to clean hard to reach corners in your garage - or your baseboards - which the plastic will still scrape against if you are not constantly careful. I don't want or need to be this mindful simply trying to get the house clean. Not recommended.
