I do a lot of network construction and have tried almost every brand of component in the past. Since trying these True Cable jacks I'll never use anything else. It has been said that you get what you pay for and this is a prime example. Yes, they do cost just a little more than some other jacks, but they work every time. A regular punch-down tool will work fine but if you really want to save time and make sure the connection is perfect then do like I did and purchase the True Cable tool designed to punch down all the wires at the same time. The projection between the contacts does an excellent job of separating the wires while keeping the twist in place, making the connections reliable. A plastic locking device ensures the wires won't come loose over time. They are very durable and come in a variety of colors. If you want to save some headaches with your networking, just use these. I highly recommend True Cable for all networking supplies.

These TrueCable keystones are not cheap, but neither are they cheaply made. I'm not a hight volume networker, and only needed to make about 4 dozen keystones so far but each one has tested good. Get a TrueCable crimping tool for best results.

Great jacks, worked from the first try. They fit 3 different wall plates that I tried, so I guess the size and latches are very standard. The grooves are a bit tight for solid copper thick cable, but doable with some effort. Looks good from the outside, too.

Does what it’s supposed to do. It’s sturdy and installation was as expected.

Had some shipping issues with these. They ship via USPS and went to the east coast, to the west coast and back to the east coast after finally getting delivered 5 days after the expected delivery date. They work well, good construction and right on par with other trueCABLE products. I purchased the yellow color based on the picture however the picture seems to be a more vibrant bright yellow and the product I received is more like a dull yellow...think banana pudding or 1970's wall phone yellow....

I love these jack for use with the true Cable crimping tool. It speeds installation and increases the integrity of commections over manual.punchdown tools.

I have used about 75 of these so far, they work well and have not had any failures. I'm using the trueCable hand crimp tool that sets and cuts all 8 conductors in one operation- they work very well with this tool. They are quality jacks- they fit a bit tight in some keystone openings. They are bit small in regard to conductor slot spacing so it takes a bit of practice to get conductors in place. They feel a bit 'light weight' compared to other competitor keystone jacks.
