I needed footwear for gardening that would be more protective than flip-flops and easier to clean than sneakers. These fit the bill nicely and for the price are a good buy. The back strap keeps them on my feet while working, but they're still easy to slip off at the door without hands. The openings along the side provide welcome ventilation. And as an added bonus, they're surprisingly comfortable (and I have multiple foot issues). Personally, I would not wear them out to the store or anything, but they're great for gardening and chores around the house. Incidentally, the color is actually an attractive indigo blue, not the rather garish bright blue shown in the photo.

These run small! I wear a 10 women's shoe. These smash my toes.They are very lightweight nice.I keep them in my camper I don't really go walking in them.

I purchased these shoes to wear for gardening for the easy on-off feature. They are very comfortable underfoot, good padding.The reason I did not give 5 stars is that heel is quite wide. They have been sprayed off after gettingmuddy in the garden and clean up easily, but not left out in the sun to dry, but in the shade because ofthe sun warning noted by a previous reviewer. I have considered leaving them out for a few minutes inthe sun to "shrink" the fit.

We left these outside for a week and they shrank so much they became unwearable. We bought them a couple sizes too big for our daughter (her feet grow fast) to wear in the back yard. We left them outside and now they don't even fit her younger brother. They didn't shrink uniformly all over, they mostly caved in at the top.Perhaps the sun has some effect on the plastic. I don't know, but it reminded me a little of Shrinky Dinks (yes I'm old).

Ordered these for the garden as my other pair had worn out and I really did not want to pay a lot for garden shoes that always take more abuse than normal shoes. Took a chance and ordered up. They arrived quickly and are exactly what I was hoping they would be. The shoes are a bit wide, but when working in the yard they are more comfortable that way rather than have them rub on your toes and the sides of your feet when you are hot and sticky. The sole liners were pretty much useless and I just pulled them out and threw them away because you really do not need them in the shoe, and they did not want to stay in place but rather kept walking out the back end. The strap across the back helps the shoe stay on your foot and the little vents on the side provide a nice bit of ventilation for an otherwise plastic shoe. For the price they are comfortable and well-suited to survive the dirt, water and mud of the garden.

Oh my, I wanted to fall in love with these. I take a size 10; two weeks ago bought new running shoes and found myself getting 11s!Saleswoman said to relax, that the non-US made shoes were now running a size smaller. So, when I saw these ["made in USA"] I opted for 10s. What I got was a light weight shoe [perfect] that fit like a pair of boats [Queen Mary]. My biggest concern had been a wide enough and flexible enough toe box; that's there. But, as the strap cannot be adjusted to make them tighter [but you can to make them looser], my foot slid down into the toe box with over 1/2" between the strap and my heel,. Could not take a single step without my feet falling out. Tried tucking tissues into the toe box; aside from highly uncomfortable and just not practical, that helped not at all. So, back they go. Thought about exchanging for a smaller size, but after looking closer at the shoe/the design, think this is a Cinderella style - will fit the perfect foot [hear my envy] and for the rest of us, sadly, not.

Perfect for gardening. Comfortable and flexible. This is my third pair. Once spring comes they're worn by whoever get sto them first.
