I bought the mini analog delay & the mini analog chorus - both are warm excellent sounding pedals!!!!

Didn't like my much more expensive chorus pedal, changed the tone too much. Wanted something that can be both very subtle and provide a good sounding effect. Researched pretty much everything. This got some nice reviews, is made in Japan... and is inexpensive. So, I gave it a try. Used it for about a month in rehearsals and I'm pretty happy so far. Doesn't change my tone and is something I like to hear.The deciding factor for me is if I prefer the sound using it over not using it. I find myself turning this on more than I have chorus pedals in the past...because I like the sound. Chorus to me should be subtle (unless you're doing some 90's stuff)...and this can be very subtle. I play most of my songs dry, but I like to use chorus when I am fingerpicking or slowly arpeggioing chords. The tone is very nice and blends well with my natural tone. I use it with my Martin acoustic in both solo and band situations and so far am very pleased.This thing is small. Almost too small (see picture.) Plus and Minus here. Good for giving you more space on your board. But, the depth and level buttons are tiny. It's hard to see those and make adjustments on the fly. Some paint on the position marker for those knobs is in order here I think. Also, make sure it's velcro'd well to your board. It's small and doesn't have a wide base to it. It's more long and narrow so it seems to want to tip over on its side, especially if you're not careful and step more to one side of the box (which is easy to do because it's so small.) It can move around pretty easy, so it needs to be secured well.Stomp button is normal size and no problem hitting it. Speed button is large and easy to access. I guess if your into changing speeds to match tempo's...this is what you want. I would have preferred the level button to be the large one. To each his own tho...Outside of the pluses and negatives of the size...I really like the sound. A lot. Well made. With Acoustic guitar, Chorus can be a big thing and one of the few effects I use (that and delay.) So, I'm pretty picky about it. Gave up a $230 boutique chorus for this...because this just sounds better regardless of price. I was willing to spend up to $500 to get the best chorus I could. I know Ibanez made some of the best analog chorus boxes ever back in the 80's. Still sought after, so I was thinking of buying one of those Vintage 80's models.Instead, I decided to give the new Ibanez a shot. And I am very happy I did. This one lives up to that standard they set so long ago.For $100, it is definetly worth giving it a try. I believe once people find out about these, they are going to become very popular :)Recommended- SF

There are other, more boutique (and expensive) chorus pedals out there these days.If you're looking for out-there, experimental sounds, they may be for you.If you want an excellent, classic-sounding chorus pedal, this will be perfect for you.I bought it because I love Rush and wanted to sound more authentic when playing their covers. It works perfectly. When you think of late 70's to late 80's chorus sounds, this effect gives you the sound that's in your head without breaking the bank or taking up much space on your board.I highly recommend!

I was looking for a newer, but smaller chorus pedal to replace my aging DOD FX60 chorus. This Ibanez totally nails that DOD 80's chorus sound, with the ability to adjust the overall level (something the DOD couldn't do) The DOD had this habit of providing a slight volume boost, which was nice most of the time, but there was no way to control it. The Ibanez let's you control if you want the volume boost. It sits nicely on my crowded pedalboard and sounds amazing!
