The product looks very smart when installed. Used as an ovenhood extractor fan outlet, the "blades" flap quite vigerously, and being made of thin metal they create quite a loud clatter. It can be heard in the kitchen. I have no plans to change it, however.

I have found that when a tumble drier is on (this is the tumble drier outlet) the louvres can oscillate. It doesn't really affect performance, but is a tad annoying.

Replaced a cheap plastic extractor fan louvred vent, which had warped and didn't work properly. This metal one is a bit bigger so covers any any holes or unsightly edges off the old plastic installation.

The media could not be loaded.  With a South facing garden I have Warped two plastic vents so brought this. But it is very noisy with the extractor on being metal Tapping away. I'm going to try instal so 2mm sticky tabs to dampen the noise.

I'm happy to see the metal vent was opening and closing properly and not staying stuck open like the plastic vents I've used in the past, when the extractor has been turned on and off.A thumbs up for this vent 👍🏻.

Works very well with my kitchen exhaust. The mmoment you put it on, the flaps easly open.
