Does anybody else get lots of grounds in their coffee and on the outside of the steel filter?

Hi, thank you for your question. This only happens when fine coffee is used to make the cold brew. Please make sure to use coarse coffee for better tasting coffee and no grounds filtering though the steel filter. If you have further questions, please feel free to send us a message on Amazon.

How is this 48 oz when the top line is only at 40oz? There doesnt look like 8oz of room between the lid and the 40oz line.

Lol. There isn’t. Also pretty certain it obviously wouldn’t factor in the room taken up by the coffee filter portion. What you end up with is probably somewhere around 30oz. (Mine fills up my 24oz cup then I have about 60%-75% space in a standard cup size left.)

Can I pour boiled water in this container?

It is a glass container…somewhat thin, but glass, so you should be fine to pour boiling water in to it. I have made fresh coffee then poured the hot coffee in to it to place in the fridge without issue.
