Very good design and quality product

Have used Starrett measuring devices for years. I got lazy years ago and purchased digital caliber (not Starrett) and got tired of needing or buying batteries. The quality is great and feels good (smooth). Very happy with the product. Would recommend and buy again.

What can I say, other than best you can buy.

Replaced two cheap dial calipers with these high quality Starrett calipers. Starrett quality is so much nicer and worth the price to get precision measuring tools.

Starrett never fails to impress with its measuring instruments. This set of dial calipers is really handy and accurate. The traversing gear runs really smooth and won't jump on you while adjusting as long as you keep chips out of it. The locking screw is also easy to reach without losing your measurement. It is a really good caliper and definitely worth the price.
