I got this to see if I would like the 'hug' of a corset and to see if it would be worth me putting some money into corsets. This is very comfortable, after a few wears it formed to my body rather well. I ordered my true waist size and it fits well. I am looking for support not costume or fashion. im not sure it will last long with everyday or near everyday wear though. With it being an underbust, and me being a well-endowed lady, I do need to wear a bra with it, but I found that the corset does take off some of the strain that over the shoulder boulder holders put on your back.Pros: -it looks very nice -came quickly- is easy to adjust by yourself-forms to body nicely-helped accentuate the 'girls' as well as with my back pain, I was able to sit in a hard chair sewing for over 3 hours with not even a touch of lower back pain!-i feel very pretty and strong in it, even though I personally wear it under my outer clothingCons: (these may be just me personally)-its a tad short, not annoyingly so, but noticeable. (I have a 8 inch sitting busk length)-i have to re-adjust throughout the day-it was difficult to get the busk closed and adjust at first, but after it formed a bit to me this became easier to do as well as a bit of practice makes it easier as well.All in all, I am pleased with this purchase and would recommend it.

fits to size, it doesn't define my waist because they don't have a small enough size but that is not a complaint, i already knew it wouldnt, and it looks good just being worn. it holds up well. i've worn it lots for long periods of time and there is no damage at all. the design is very pretty and it is not hard to put on by yourself. I dont have a single complaint.

Got this for RenFair. I'm almost 5' 3", 128 lbs and between a petite and average build. The corset size is fine, as it is adjustable, but the decorative panel in the back isnt very wide, so if you adjust out too much, there will be a gap between the panel and the other side of the corset. I just flipped the panel over and out of the way and let the dress show through the laces rather than try to fix or replace the corset. Decent structure to the corset. It seems to be well made and is very pretty. I ordered grey but it has a more violet tone to it, in my opinion. I would order up if you're worried about neatly displaying the back panel. The laces are so easy to adjust in and out and tie yourself.

This fabric is super elegant and the trim makes it really dressy! I am a 5.5 125 lbs woman and got an L bc of previous reviews and bc I was not looking for the corset experience of having it tighten up my midsection. I wanted it to fit over a dress for a pirate look. It worked out perfectly. The laces are tied up all the way and I am not suffering it is just right. If you want the laces to open up a bit do not go up in size so much.
