The Sky Atlas: The Greatest Maps, Myths, and Discoveries of the Universe

This book blew my mind, the quality of the book both contents and production wise, 5 stars is not even enough. Production wise, the paper quality of the front cover makes the colors pop in the most special way, dont get me started on the contents since it gathers information from the earliest accounts.

Opened the parcel to find there has obviously been a massive printing error. This item was supposed to be prime and took about 4 days to appear as they 'lost track' of my parcel. Now that it's arrived I can't be bothered to return it for a new one just to take just as long! Great book, unfortunately damaged.

This a beautiful book which is richly designed with a multitude of colourful illustrations on top quality cartridge paper. It is fascinating to read about the endeavours of the early pioneers who paved the way to the stars and beyond.

combines a clear text about the history of astronomy with magnificent pictures. A real delight. Plan to pass this along to my star gazing nephew.
