Allparts Replacement Handle for Gibson Style Case - Brown Leather

Great product
I bought this handle as a real leather replacement handle for a vintage Backgammon set. I used to help my father restore acoustic musical instruments, and this is definitely something that we would have used on an old guitar, mandolin, or violin case depending upon the style of the original. It is not made by Gibson, but the quality is very high. The provider is cool and gave me some neat sales souveniers which I liked a lot including a guitar pick with their logo (Chicago Music Exchange). I would try them out to handle the sale of one of my vintage instruments based solely upon how well they performed on what has to be a very small transaction for them. My only complaint about the product is that it is listed or described as brown, and aside from a very tiny strip is essentiallly black. I cannot say enough good things about the provider, however, which is not always the case.I bought a knife from Amazon a Prime to be fulfilled by another party and a month later it had not been shipped. Chicago's performance is not unique, but it is certainly not the norm either.

Broke within 2 months
Handle broke within 2 months. Contacted seller and they wouldn’t do anything to help. They couldn’t even give me good contact information for the manufacturer.

Sturdy Handle
This is a great replacement handle. It saved me from having to buy a new guitar case.

No good for 1993 es-335 cases
This does NOT FIT es-335 cases from 1990. Bigfly did work with me and issue refund.

Don't Buy!!
The handle is made very thin where it attaches to the case and the leather completely ripped through causing the case to hit the ground. The handle was lightly used for only one year. The original handle (made in japan) last 40 years. Don't even think about buying, total garbage.

Works as expected. I wish that it came in black when I bought it.
