Bloomsbury Space Detectives

This book is fun and exciting, and very attractively laid out. One of the main characters is black (useful if you are trying to diversify your library) but you would only know from the pictures - his heritage is not mentioned in anyway - though, as he is in space, perhaps things work differently!It is full of fun, adventure and silly laughs. Some of the names for creatures are in true Roald Dahl tradition.It is not as easy as some early readers so if it is being bought for independent reading, I would wait until the child is a bit more confident. It would be a fun read aloud though.

My son absolutely loves this book. He hasn't put it down. I wish there were a series of them

A great little adventure story for kids with wild imaginations. Witty, well illustrated (one chapter is written in space) with a nice little Chinatown undercurrent for the adults. Hopefully this will be the first of many adventures for the Space Detectives.

It was a great book! Full of action and mystery, that will keep each reader stuck to each page. Amazing book! Hope there will be a sequel.

My daughter loves the book. She loves anything space related and was inspired to read this daily.
