I love my old Duofold long underwear with a part wool exterior layer, but the elastic went limp after 8 years. The fabric was just fine, so I just cut off the old elastic and replaced it with this great, soft elastic. The only similar replacement, for the old style Duofolds [cotton inside, wool outside], from Stanfield's was very nice but wow expensive.

Finding non-latex elastic is very hard, and when you find it there are not of lot of options. This seems like very nice quality elastic that does what elastic should and won't upset my allergies. It has a nice comforting plush quality as well, which can be used as a waistband. Overall, I'm glad it exists and will get creative with it's uses!

I do love the feel of this elastic; however, it does roll inside a casing. The stretch is a “soft stretch,” so I would not recommend it for use with a heavy fabric. Since it has a soft surface, I think it will work well as an exposed elastic, but I still would not recommend it for use with heavy fabric. The description stated it could be considered non-roll, but it is not. I might purchase it again, but only for exposed, light weight garments.

I have used this in several projects, including in a waistband and to hold couch covers in place. Excellent quality and strength. It did not cause allergic symptoms for my latex allergy!!! Thankful to find elastic I can use safely.

This elastic is very soft, but super lightweight. It isn’t usable for sewing purposes because it lacks sufficient strength, particularly in ratio to the width. It isn’t suitable for anything but headbands for babies.

Was I SO 'happy surprised' when this elastic arrived! The QUALITY is better than I have ever used. I've been sewing for 40 years and I won't use another brand. I'm absolutely sold on this Krebs brand. And the price was terrific too!I was making new pajamas and ran out of elastic for the waistband. I jumped onto Amazon to purchase more instead of running to the store, and did I luck out!

Worked great for my project , elastic that did not look like elastic ! Nice and smooth easy to see with . If elastic is going to show , this is great !!!
