These apple sticks are natural without any artifical ingredients. It's 100% safe for chinchillas. The apple sticks come from a local farm in Yolo county, California. I do have two chinchillas and I also feed them these apple sticks. Some irrational negatvie reviews comes from the foreign competitor who manipulate the reviews on Amazon.
